Simple really, name the song that has the most plays in your itunes library and how many times you have listened to it.
Saint Veronika - Billy Talent - 52
Salt in the wounds - Pendulum - 52
Doesn't specifically have to be itunes but you catch my drift.
What's your highest played song on itunes?
On my last.fm account (the old one i had for 3 years), its
- Foo Fighters - Hell (over 600 times)
- Dream Theater - Wait for Sleep (300+)
Surfin Bird by The Trashmen, followed closely by Sunny Day Real Estates's Seven...I have no idea why
Nope, I hate Family Guy with a passion...I guess it's just so short I can keep it going.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Especially In Michigan - 73
Metallica - Fade To Black - 60
Queen - Killer Queen - 56
Metallica - Call of ktulu - 47
I also have the Amazing Horse song 90 times because me and my friends once drove for more then an hour and put the song on an infinite loop.
Salt in the wounds - Pendulum - 52Excellent choice. Immersion is a great album, although I prefer The Vulture and The Island Part 2 over Salt in the Wounds. As for my top played tracks, I'll give my top three.
Song | Artist | Play Count |
---|---|---|
State of the Union | Rise Against | 30 |
First Drop | Rise Against | 27 |
Life Less Frightening | Rise Against | 26 |
Yup, all by Rise Against. And even stranger, all from Siren Song of the Counter Culture.
" @xMP44x: Yeah Rise Against a pretty good, my favourite song of theirs is Give it all, I haven't heard a lot of their stuff though. "Give it All is from Siren Song as well - it's probably their most hardcore album, so you might enjoy it more than Appeal to Reason, though The Sufferer and the Witness is pretty awesome as well. The Unraveling isn't bad at the same time, but it doesn't sound the same as their more recent stuff. Not necessarily a complaint though - I like it when artists perform different genres. Although considering the fact that The Unraveling was their first album (maybe the second?), I'm wrong in saying that. Survive is fairly similar to Give it All in style though, so you might want to listen to it.
" John Cafferty - Heart's on Fire: 67 plays. "You must do lots of Rocky IV related running through snow/training/growing a beard/ending the cold war
Rebellion (Lies) - Arcade Fire, 420 times
The high play count is due to it being on the playlist I listen to to go to sleep/do schoolwork.
The listens are messed up because it's start to finish. If the song has 10 seconds of silence at the end and I skit that 10 seconds, it won't count as a listen. That's why I hate the song tracker.
Danger - 00:01 (feat. Vyle) 80 plays.
Going on 81 now since I looked for it and now I want to hear it.
My top 3:
1: Till I Collapse, Eminem
2: Lose Yourself, Eminem
3: Shattering the Skies Above, Trivium
I don't use itunes, so heres the one off of my last.fm acc that I've had since 07.
Agalloch – Summerisle Reprise - 216 times.
" @PenguinDoctor: You hate family guy? MADNESS! "THIS IS SPAAAAARTAAAAA!
I do agree though, Family Guy is a great show and freakin' hilarious if you know what I mean lol.
"Bound to be that way" - Do Make Say Think - 371
"A Tender History In Rust" - Do Make Say Think - 371
"In Mind" - Do Make Say Think - 371
The whole album You, You're A History In Rust is my most played, followed by Pete Samples album An Unsent Letter and NIN's Ghost I. I like listening to whole albums.
Indie Rokkers - MGMT 20 plays
Banquet - Bloc Party - 18 plays
Mission Control - The Dandy Warhols - 18 plays
Sandstorm - Darude - 18 plays
itunes seems to reset the count with most of its updates :/
my laptop had Newton Faulkner - "dream catch me" and Florence and the Machine - "dog days are over" tied at 38 plays til I reinstalled my OS...
dread to think what's on the ipod... probably the entire feeder collection followed by otherside by the chillis...
