Oh I speak of all those people out there that say gaming is lame and only geeks play games. Man that is so not true gaming is a billion dollar industry. It's these people who mostly are whooped and make excuses that they don't like gaming. And in reality they probily want to but there ball and chain don't let them or something dumb prevents them.
This is why I say GAMING RULES and I'll never stop for anyone. As a matter of fact I'm finding myself more into gaming as I get older. I truly do not think I could ever give up gaming. I will be 90 years old still schooling chumps. I'll be whooping my grand kids butt. LOL

I've met my last two boyfriends in a video game shop so it's never really been an issue. It's kind of a necessity that my boyfriends like games, what else would we talk about? I've tried to get my friends to lighten up on their boyfriends about the gaming issue, it's not really working. Guess some people just aren't into it? nope, though i would never call myself a gamer anyway games are to me as movies and music, but slightly less important, good stuff for entertainment purposes

I agree with this. My last gf wasn't too keen on anything I did for fun. Everytime I went skating or played games, she made me feel guilty about it. In the end, it really just boils down to finding someone compatible, or at the very least, accepts you.
I just don't understand it. Why will most women put up with a man who is a sports fanatic but not a video game nut? It doesn't make sense. If anything, sport is more annoying and less social. You can play video games together so I don't know why girls bitch so much. Is it social attitudes towards gamers or just how gamers project themselves??
LOL I think some of you took it the wrong way My girl is cool with gaming. All i said was since she is in school alot now she does not get to play much.
Either way I'm proud and I would never let a girl tell me not to play games. Besides I never had problems getting girls If I did encounter one that did give me static about gaming she would see the door with the quickness as I put my controller on pause. LOL
I'm not exactly proud of it, to be honest. I don't advertise it by any means, but anyone who knows me pretty well will find out real quick. I actually hate when people ask me what I want to do for a living, which is to be a game designer. Someone even asked me today. Maybe I should come up with some bogus answer to start telling people. Professional gas pumper, like my idol Jeff Gerstmann, perhaps?
