I have no clue how to post my desktop, and just posting the image gives me the options of having it too small, too small and cropped or too large.
It's just a glowy looking metroid on black background. It's been my laptop background longer than anything else.
" Let the posting begin. "Dude that is really, really cool. Here's mine:
Hidden taskbars fo life.

Thank you for the links to the system monitoring tools. So pretty in a simple, elegant way.
@Hylianhero1991:
Great FF XIII Lightning background, thanks for uploading the original to your profile.
And me? I've got nothing. Just using stock themes right now until I have time to put together a good wallpaper rotation. Great submissions though, every one.
Note: I do have icons covering my desktop almost completely, but I hid them so you could see the squirrel in all its splendor.
This man has good taste." I've been changing wallpapers each week based on the main games that I've been playing or what has been on my mind.

Anywho, here's my desktop's desktop for this month. Hid all the icons since I've got some cleaning to do. I just use Objectdock. Otherwise nothing special.
And my laptop's wallpaper this month. Again, nothing special there (need to do some icon upkeep there too). I just use the black Vista theme.
I just got my PC so setting p the desktop now, but can I ask a question WHY do you keep the start bar at the bottom? Think about it, you have two windows based things, close and starts, that's what you use most of all, why put them at polar opposite? I keep my top left, and I tell everyony to put it on top, it's just more efficent that way. It all that with Ubuntu ( I dual boot now ) and now I can't imagine using a bottom bar, it's just illogical.
Its called Omnimo 3.1 for Rainmeter, its meant to replicate the Windows phone 7 interface
