The IGN Nintendo team confirmed yesterday that this game won't be coming to Wii outside of Japan from Namco Bandai. If another publisher picks it up for the U.S., it'll be on the way, but as of now, it isn't.

How do you feel about this? Personally, I'm ticked off, since this was the first JRPG I've ever wanted to play.

Sad, but there's nothing we can do about it. I'm really pissed at Namco Bandai though, this isn't exactly the first time they've screwed us over when it comes to their games. Oh, and can you provide a link to the article?

Doesn't this always happen with Nintendo consoles moreso than others? I remember looking forward to a lot of games during my N64 and Gamecube days only to find out I was never going to get them or i'd have to wait forever.

Well, Nintendo consoles are infinitely more popular (or they have been) in Japan than other places. Also, it's a JRPG.

The worst part is that Bamco has said that they're gonna focus more on Western audiences. Thing is, instead of localizing all their awesome Japan-only games, they've created a new studio to create games specifically aimed at us. I'm guessing crappy FPSs and the like...(again, could you please provide a link to the article?)

I had never heard of this game.

Shame that it isn't coming out outside of Japan though, (THERE IS MORE TO THE WORLD OTHER THAN THE US YOU KNOW?)  seems pretty good.
