Gadwin is a mighty warrior of Dight, a village in the Lost World on the other side of The End of the World. Justin meets Gadwin shortly after descending the wall. Gadwin and Justin get into sword combat with Justin being easily defeated by Gadwin's signature move "Dragon Cut." Gadwin sees the good and potential in Justin and even after their combat, decides to join the party all the while mentoring Justin. Gadwin sort of functions as a father figure for Justin, helping him along the path from boy to man, ensuring that he grows into a good and better person. He also passes along his Dragon Cut move to Justin, feeling that he has earned it many times over. He proves to be a valuable asset for the team for a very long amount of time before he stays behind as the party moves onward so that he can keep helping his people.
