    Gex is a video game series created by Crystal Dynamics. The series is based upon the adventures of a TV loving Gecko called Gex who often gets sucked into alternative, television-inspired dimensions by the series's villain, Rez.

    The series, which started as a 3DO exclusive, spans a total of 3 games (not counting handheld ports) and achieved moderate levels of popularity, as evidenced by the release of a children's novelization of the 3rd game and a "How to Draw Gex & the Gang" book, both published by Troll Books.
