It turns Medusa to Stone 1

Note: To be clear, this story is NOT TRUE. It's just fictional.  It is August 13, 2009. Developers of GI Joe: The Rise or Cobra were accused of "License Abuse in the First Degree", with many haters stating that the game GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra is "a get-rich scheme which injures the integrity of electronic entertainment and is an insult to the videogame community." Millions of bucks were at stake, and the court case went back and forth, back and forth until there is a final showdown at the Int...

The video game adaption of the popular film of the same name was developed by Double Helix Games and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, and mobile devices. Unfortunat...

G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra - A Binge Gamer Review 0

Review: G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra By James Walker When the trailer for G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra was first released in theaters, I think we all had the same thought: …holy shit, this is going to be terrible. And we were right. The movie was downright bad. However, for as much of an abomination to the G.I. JOE name as the movie was, the game is 20x worse. Now, I know what you’re thinking: “a movie game that sucks? Say it isn’t so.” While it’s true that movie tie-in games have a ...

It's like a Really Terrible Version of Contra 0

The movie is out in theatres and, well, looks like refried crap. The game is out in stores and is…well, we’ll discuss that in a moment.I have no idea how closely the game follows the plot of the movie. I haven’t seen it and, honestly, have zero desire to do so. I suppose it is comparable, in some way, to the classic Contra titles, but I suppose it’s damaged goods now ...
