Check out this vid on CVG. Watching it really makes me hope they put GTA IV on sale in the Steam summer sale. Would love to play this game again with improved graphics.
Game » consists of 23 releases. First released on Apr 29, 2008
You can't use ENBSeries (which the main lighting part of that mod pack) on the Steam version of GTA IV because ENBS doesn't support the latest GTAIV patches and Steam only offers the latest version.
I'll stick to Visual IV, which is not as good looking, but runs rather well (with the steam version).
@SeriouslyNow: I just read about a newer version coming soon which will work with Steam (the version that exists works, but runs terrible with Steam). It will have a few less features though..
It looks so amazing, it's kind of sad that GTA 5 will not look that good, if it's released on this console generation.
Rockstar should hire this guy. That first shot of night looked like a car commercial, it was amazing.
Liberty City, more like Lingshen Island City :o
All of the graphics mods for GTA IV I've seen have shitty trees. This one is no different. They're slightly better than the other ones I've seen, but they still look pretty bad compared to everything else & detract from the whole experience. Everything else seems to look spectacular, but when one thing looks average in a game where everything else looks amazing, it really looks out of place.
Honestly, I've never seen a good 3D tree (or any kind of foliage) in a game. All of the graphics mods for GTA IV I've seen have shitty trees. This one is no different. The GTA IV trees are sprites (aren't they?), I don't think there is anything they can do to make them look better. Putting new 3d models for trees in that game would be crazy, imho. :)

That looks pretty good, however I'm refraining from getting excited because I've never had great luck getting a good frame rate with GTA IV. Sexy slideshows just don't do it for me.
That looks fucking amazing. If dude gets it working with Steam, I'll give it a shot.
This mod video has me more wanting to play a new Midnight Club...
Granted I'm always in the mood for Midnight Club but still....
Damn, I've seen this mod before but I still can't believe how nice that game looks. I played GTA 4 on the xbox(blurry textures, lots of aliasing, ugly shadows) and it wasn't anything like this, wow!!!
So, if I already own the game on console is it ok to.. uhm... get it from "shady" sources just to try this mod? Anyways, my pc can barely handle Vice City with ENB series on so I'm not getting my hopes up.
This is the only kind of GTA mod I need.
Wasn't the PC port of GTA 4 terrible? As in, didn't it run like crap even on high end machines? I feel like giving a poorly ported engine even more to deal with would end poorly performance wise, or you would need an absolute beast of a computer to run this mod well.
What games have you been playing? Your honesty is pretty meaningless. Those trees look like shit. The only relatively recent game with worse trees is Gran Turismo 5.@MattyFTM said:

Hm yeah, weird.. I don't agree. The driving felt a bit weird sometimes, because of the camera angle, but other than that.. felt alright.
That is pretty impressive. If he/they can make that mod without killing the framerate of the game im all in.
I'll just leave these here:-

Make sure to watch the vid on youtube in HD in fullscreen while you're wearing diapers.

My problem with all of these videos is nothing is going on. There is really no action to tax the framerate in any of these videos. People driving slowly doesn't impress me when it comes to GTA.
Look at the last video I posted. I think you missed that one, framerate seems fine. ENBSeries (and the iCE Enhancer mod which uses) certainly taxes framerate, but not to unplayable levels. GTA IV isn't exactly a new game and this mod targets high end machines.
