Poll What kind of DLC do you want? (152 votes)
So what do you want the DLC to be? I'd take expansions if they each have 3 new characters but I really liked Undead Nightmare so I'd want that.

All of those? A single character story DLC won't cut it, though. It needs to be three new dudes or the same characters.
San Fierro and Las Venturas. I can dream, right?
With this would bring a g'damn casino heist too AND the ability to play cards etc.
I think this map would work really well, more so than RDR did for an Undead Nightmare DLC. Giant city, plus a giant country side. It's perfect.
But otherwise, I want DLC like Lost and the Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony.
Lost and the Damned 2, play the downfall of Johnny. Already got 3 characters to play right there, Johnny, Clay and Terry.
Zombie Apocalypse DLC. Your ragtag trio and friends fighting for survival, gun shops forted up with the clerks saying things like "I knew this day would come!", radio stations functioning in a similar manner to the Fallout 3 and New Vegas ones, broadcasting advice and news along with music to the San Andreas wasteland.
I've thought about this a lot.
MORE HEISTS! A LOT MORE HEISTS!
You think you want more heists but you don't. In fact I've heard quite a few reviews say the same thing BUT if they did more heists then the heists would no longer be special anymore. Its always better to leave em' wanting more then being bored/tired of something. I think the pacing for the heist missions are just right.

I want to be able to organize my own heists not necessarily tied to the story. With more potential targets, and more planning involved.
Zinyak appears in his saucer and makes a volcano slowly rise from the middle of Los Santos. You've got to fight kung-fu zombie strippers and hell hounds while arranging a heist to gather fighter jets and codes to take the shields down. It's all against time as bubbling magma is creeping down every street. Guest starring the cast of Downton Abbey.
A garage or three that stores all my customized cars in a list. Wouldn't mind seeing more ways to introduce steady streams of income in the early game for the guys too.
The GTA IV DLC was great, I hope they do more of that for GTA V. Also now that they could do DLC, maybe they can release new clothing/hairstyles? Or maybe even new car models.
I'm real tired of the wasteland and zombie scenarios, seeing as how they're in every other game these days, so I really hope those don't happen. What I would like to see, is probably expand to Las Venturas, and be able to gamble and win or lose big, maybe end up owning a casino or two, more investment and property opportunities, deal with the mob and whatnot, make it a side story. I really am surprised there hasn't been a GTA centered around Vegas (or Venturas) and the mob's involvement in it. I think that would make a really good game.
It would be cool if there was an expansion about a second crew. More heists would be nice that will be smooth like rice.
It'd be decent to get some DLC with new heists but may need to introduce new characters for it. Online dlc is bound to come out too!
Honestly, I would rather have one big DLC with a whole new city like Las Venturas(obviously not as big, but a decent size). Doing a couple of small casino heists that leads up to one BIG one. Throw in some extra things to do like gambling and other various side missions. That would be pretty sweet
Maybe some prequel shit discussing the Lost crew and how they found their way in Los Santos.
Since GTA Online is supposed to be set prior to the single-player events of GTA V, I feel like any prequel related content would probably be relegated to that. I'm also not sure seeing that story of the Lost in San Andreas would be all that satisfying since we already know how that turns out.
Until we see how GTA Online turns out, I'm not really sure where I'd prefer to see additional content.

I just beat the game last night and thinking back on it now two of my favorite things in this game that diversifies it from other open world games such as Saints Row and Sleeping dogs is the exploration aspect of searching every nook and cranny of the game world for secrets. I thought it was really invigorating being able to skydive to the peaks of mountain tops or submarine down to the dark abyss below in search for stuff. I also really enjoyed the preparation aspect of the mission heists, its like the greatest and best easter egg hunt I have ever played in a video game. If they can incorporate these type of exploration search and hunt games into the next dlc I will be happy.
The first 2 options are both great options but I chose the second. I want an alien expansion because come on.
When you highlight this thread for a quick view, it ends with "Undead Nig."
Just saying.
Resident Evil 5 has lots of those.
As well as my previous post (Fierro and Venturas), I'd love a late 90s Vice City with Trevor and Mike pulling heists in their prime... again, I'm allowed to dream.
Undead nightmare or just expanding the map to include San Francisco and Las Vegas like San Andreas did.

i agree with demoskinos
but i believe the online has heists
@bigjeffrey: Oh god, I haven't played the game myself, but from the little I saw, he's a lot like Jeffr- I mean OG Loc.
Idea #3 would be have the same map (slight tweaks here and there), but set in the 80s or 90s and with three new characters; Families; Vagos and Ballas gangbangers. Have it take place during a large scale three way turf war and since you're playing as three rival characters, that could be pretty coo' story wise.
"Life as a Los Santos cop", give it some roguelike features, such as procedurally-generated crimes, permadeath. Play as a dirty cop, with loads of resources. Or play as a white knight, you'll have next to no resources and almsot no help from the rest of the force.
edit 16 hours later: Doh, forgot that they allready made LA Noire.
@bigjeffrey: As a Lamar stan, I fully support that decision.
