I just can't get over that guitar... I mean... Really? Look at it!
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Sep 28, 2010
The sixth core entry in Activision's Guitar Hero series represents the last entry developed by Neversoft.
Rush, A Free Soundgarden CD, And More In This Year's Guitar Hero
I've gotta say, I was 100% uninterested in Guitar Hero, but now... A Soundgarden album? WOOOOOOOOOO!
Yeah, still completely uninterested.
Im going to be honest and blunt here, if i never in my life play another Rythm game again(Rock Band, Guitar Hero, ANYTHING) I really wouldn't mind. I really don't feel any more excitement for these games anymore even though i love music!
I hate Activision so much that I hope this game is a failure and the whole series dies because I want those songs on Rockband.
The whole vibe that the Guitar Hero franchise gives off stinks. Cartoony, weird, out-dated style all the way. Still has the feel of Guitar Hero or Guitar Hero 2 for me, and not in a good way.
" Still don't care for this game. Same gameplay just with new glossy paint. Can't wait for RB 3. "Which is the same gameplay as RB2, what is the big difference there? These stories are always the same stuff about RB vs GH I enjoy both games, so I am definitely all over this game, the setlist looks pretty amazing this time around, more like a wish list anyway.
when guitar hero actually starts being good again like it used to be, let me know. i'll be playin dj hero and rockband in the meantime still.
does anyone really still care? let's move on to the next disaster franchise... like trumpet hero or some shit like that.
2112 just makes me want to get this game so much. before i was like 'meh' to all guitar hero games from III upwards.
So, wait. They're trying to convince people to purchase their awful fad game by including a CD of an awful fad band? Eep.
They could have at least made it a download and saved that crap from the environment.
This sounds pretty rad. Will have to see what rock band 3 has in store before I Rush to buy either one...
Get it?!!!
Normally, rhythm games mean nothing to me but this sounds like it might be worth checking out. 2112 is a classic and I could definitely see me wailing out Temples of Syrinx.
Cool freebies, but there's about nothing that will sway me back to the Guitar Hero franchise at this point. After World Tour, the differences in quality between the GH and Rock Band franchises became glaringly apparent. While Harmonix is intent on moving the genre forward, it seems like Guitar Hero is going backwards.
Not a Soundgarden fan, but even if I was, this still reeks of added "bonuses"/pack-ins in order to get you to buy something you might not necessarily want.
For the record, I loved (note it's in the past tense) the Guitar Hero franchise, but I'm over it. Same with Rock Band as well. At least RB3 is trying something new with the realistic controllers. Everything I've seen about this new GH game seems like it's going in the wrong direction.
You know, Activision may have milked this franchise for all its worth last year, but this year it seems like they're finally getting their shit together. I've never gotten a Guitar Hero game for its stellar DLC support (they just seem to always get no-name hacks and tracks that are just uninteresting to me) but for the core tracklist, and this game's set looks really good. Neversoft may have fucked up royally with World Tour, but after GH5 and what I've seen of this, I think they're beginning to make up for it.
A Soundgarden CD, eh? It seems like they're really hitting the right notes to make this worthwhile for anyone who went all-in on Guitar Hero in the music game space. If you really like Rush and Soundgarden, the value of this investment just went way up!
Doesn't mean I'll be getting it, though. :|
" @Afroman269 said:Sure. If I'm going to dump my free time into a rhythm game then I'm more interested in one that gives the opportunity to learn an instrument. Also the RB library of music is huge from all the weekly dlc." Still don't care for this game. "
