I don't think the argument is whether SWAT is any good or not, the argument is that it's so distinct that it should have its own separate playlist.
Halo: Reach
Game » consists of 13 releases. Released Sep 14, 2010
A prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, chronicling one of the most cataclysmic events of the Halo Universe through the eyes of a squad of Spartan super-soldiers known as Noble Team. It is also the last game in the series developed by Bungie.
SWAT should be in a playlist of its own.
I agree. I like SWAT but it can be frustrating sometimes.
But even more than that I want Snipers to be a separate playlist. It's the most boring and retarded thing I've ever seen in Halo 3 and Reach. I've never found it to be fun in any sense of the word. When I select Team Slayer from the playlist menu, it means I want to play Team Slayer darnit.
I think you should just straight up be able to search for match types you want. Not everybody loves playing Slayer DMR, SWAT, Snipers, or Zombies every single game lol.
"I love swat ... Good players learn to adjust. "
Not all of us are good players. Some of us just want to jump in and have some fun for an hour or two, but unfortunately as SWAT seems to always be chosen over other game modes that can be pretty difficult at times. We're not all precision players.
" I play Halo multiplayer for Halo, not campfest one shot kills. And beings as it seems to be the most popular choice whenever it comes up, I think it should be in a different playlist. Does anybody else agree, or am I alone in this? "Totally agree.
I love SWAT... but it is not like the other halo game modes in terms of pace at all. You either want to play SWAT, or you don't. It is ridiculous it isn't its own playlist.
Also, why are there no objective based arena playlists?
What's funny is listening to a ton of people groan when
SWAT is picked. And then others leaving after it starts.
Face it, SWAT is a form of griefing for the average Halo
player. It should only show up once every 10 or 20 games played.
Big difference between SWAT & COD is that you can shoot
the body all damn day & not kill them...
The worst thing about SWAT, when it gets picked, is all the people leaving.
Ok I hate SWAT a lot too, but constant leaving is either gonna fuck the game up more for one side (always my side) and disrupt the flow, making the moods of gamers already playing reluctant even worse.
That, and it just shows up too much.

I love SWAT and would play it 9/10 matches if it were an option
I tried BTB to get away from the SWAT/snipers bullshit and guess what I got? TEAM SWAT on scrapyard and that was absolute bullshit. Some dudes were camping the spawn points so the game was pretty much: Spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die, somebody killed the camper so you can run for a while and die, spawn, die, spawn, die.
Lookie what I found!

I like SWAT, but I do think it should be its own thing. If you're really good at regular slayer but bad at SWAT, or vice-versa, it kinda sucks when the mode you choose has both in it.
Yes, and on top of that even if I go like positive 11 the game usually ends up being 50-49 every time I play.
