Well...not exactly. But recently Microsoft has paired up with Mega Brands (the makers of those lego-like blocks that are bigger) to make Halo-themed construction sets.

    Lol.

You can find out more about it in this article here, http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5jTUQwIj-J11eZDv2Z7hUAxq5y-HA.

I think the winning quote is, "One thing that we've always had is fantastic innovation. But our challenge has been convincing the boys that are five to 10 that Mega Bloks that they played with as preschoolers can be cool"

I didn't know the demographic for 5-10 year old Halo players was so huge.

No, there are "LEGO-sized" Mega Blok sets. The quality of the plastic is much worse than LEGO though. Unless this company plans to actually make preschool sized stuff. It's still kind of weird to be marketing the Halo franchise for young kids though.

I'm not suprised that they want to do somthing like this.  I've heard some rumors that they were going to make a Lego Halo videogame.  But my only complaint would be, is it going to stay true to the story or will they fuck it up.  I liked the other lego games, like lego batman and lego starwars.  I just don't think a lego halo would be any good in my opinion.

LOL another victim of the EGM April fools.  It's amazing how long this has been tricking people.  I'll miss EGM April fools even though I never actually got to read one (Live in the UK)
