The video doesn't spoil anything.  It shows Ethan getting ready for his son's birthday party, and it shows off some more interactivity within the environments and player controls.

If you don't watch the video because you want to have a fresh experience, by all means you don't have to watch. But there aren't any plot elements in this video. It is mainly a tutorial for the controls.

I admire the lofty goals of Quantic Dream, but I have the lingering feeling that they couldn't shake off some of the problems with Indigo Prophecy.

I played a preview version of the game, the father of a friend of mine works for the press, but that is besides the point. If you feel unsafe about watching the video because of what I said then I'll watch the video and tell you whether it spoils the moment or not.  EDIT: It does not spoil it, I had forgotten how long that opening sequence of the dude getting dressed was. "

My god this game looks tedious. I mean, brushing a guy's teeth with motion control? Really? I get what they want to accomplish with that stuff and I applaud them for trying, but I think it's going to fail miserably; judging by the footage they've shown, almost everything in the game is going to feel like a fucking chore.

That is just the introduction, its showing you the controls and how the game plays different from other games. Its a clever tutorial. This game isnt a more realistic version of the sims, its not just living a characters ordinary life."

Voice acting from the video was pretty bad.  I'm not sure if it was intentional since it was his own thoughts though.
 
Game looks great anyways.

I want to watch this but I shouldent. I think I have seen way too much of this game already and I hope to be able to enjoy it at some point.

Whoops, didn't see this thread and replied to the one that is way, way late. Here's what I thought of it:  
 
- To tell you the truth I thought the graphics would be better. I remember seeing screens of this a while ago and it looked a lot better... just look at the bathroom when they show the sink and all that stuff. The only thing I really liked was his facial detail and the great lighting, but even then I've seen much better facial detail before. 
- I was expecting the voice acting to be better, especially for a game that is basically one whole cinematic. 
- I'm not sure how long I would be able to play it for in one sitting, I had the same problem with Indigo Prophecy. 
- I got a huge Indigo Prophecy vibe from it - I'm thinking that's more of a bad thing than a good thing, even though I did like IP. 
- The level of interaction is nice, being able to touch mostly everything, but still - it's all just a cinematic. Like with that RC toy, all he did was press a button and a cinematic played.  
- Some of the animations are a bit... robotic?
 
I will probably want to see more before I decide to get it or not... I'm not sure a game like this warrants a full-price purchase for me!    

Now I have to own this game. I think I may do a Let's Play of it. Once I get the necessary equipment. ;P

Could have done without the guy butt.
