I enjoy most games and I especially like to check out games that are doing something different or trying something new for the video game enthusiast.  Heavy Rain does this on several different levels, but the most important part is they make the game/story fun to play.  The story itself is well done for video game standards but is lacking that next level that some games have achieved.  The different paths you can take by your choices or lack of is pretty cool and different than playing Mass Effect 2 which I also just finished.  Heavy Rain will make you deal with hard choices which impact your story several different ways.  The key here is it's YOUR story which is the fun part of this game, crafting your imputs and making a good game a with a fun story was a well achieved success for Quantic Dreams.  Go play this game so they make more like it!

A game comprised entirely of quick-time events (a concept that hasn’t been funky fly since Shenmue) combined with the hunt for a Jigsaw-like killer (imitating a movie that hasn’t been interesting since…well the first one), coupled with Resident Evil-like walking controls (which have never been cool.) Throw in the most daring attempt to climb the uncanny valley to date and you have a game that really, really should not have any claim to relevance in t...
