Hulk Hogan is an extremely famous, semi-retired professional wrestler. He is best known for popularizing wrestling, highlighting 8 of the first 9 wrestlemania`s and being by far the most popular wrestler in the WWF and the most hated bad guy in WCW. He has appeared in many video games.

Birth and Early Years

Terry Gene Bollea was born on August 11, 1953 in Augusta, Georgia.

He was raised in Tampa, Florida. When he was a kid, he was really into baseball, playing on the Little League. When he was a teenager, he started watching wrestling matches at the Tampa Sportatorium. He was a huge fan of Dusty Rhodes. He said that watching Superstar Billy Graham made him want to become like him. Hulk Hogan also had a passion for music and was good at it, spending over 8 years in rock bands.  He went to the University of South Florida but later dropped out. At the gym where he used to work out, he met Mike Graham, who`s father was the president of the National Wrestling Alliance. Hulk Hogan was a big kid, which Jack and Gerald Brisco both noticed. They convinced Hulk Hogan to get into wrestling and, since he was a wrestling fan since he was a kid, he agreed. In 1976, he started training with the legendary trainer, Hiro Matsuda. Apparently, his training methods were very tough, with most students not passing training. He broke Hogan`s leg the first day.

WWWF and AWA

A couple months later, Terry Funk introduced him to Vince McMahon, Sr. the owner of WWWF. Vince liked Hulk Hogan's size and charisma. He then got a job with the WWWF and had a few matches, including a title match against Bob Buckland. He got an offer to shoot in the movie Rocky 3, which he wanted to do but McMahon told him not to, and if he did, he would be fired. He filmed for the movie and got released from the WWWF. He then went on to join the AWA. He was brought into the company as a bad guy, battling all the good guys but the fans loved him for having much more muscles and charisma so they started to cheer for him, ultimately turning him into a good guy. After filming Rocky 3, he used the popular song "Eye of the Tiger" as his entrance. He went on to become the AWA`s top good guy (babyface). Hulk Hogan got championship matches against the AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel, many times about to win the title but then he would get screwed. Some times Hulk Hogan would win, but the decision would get reversed. Gagne didn't want him to be champion because he wasn't an old school wrestler. Eventually Gagne booked Hogan to win the AWA title but there was a couple conditions, Gagne wanted a large percentage of the money Hogan was making from his trips to Japan and control over his bookings overseas. Hulk Hogan refused. He then went on to work for the WWF after Vince McMahon, Jr. bought the company off his dieing father. He did win a few titles while working with the AWA, though.

NJPW

Hulk Hogan worked a lot with New Japan Pro Wrestling, in which he had a lot of success. Japan wrestling fans loved him, calling him Ichiban, which is Number One in Japanese. He started wrestling in New Japan when he was working in the WWF in 1980, he faced a variety of opponents worldwide from Tatsumi Fujinami to Abdullah the Butcher. When wrestling in Japan though, he was much more technical and old school, using much more moves, which differed from his Brutal brawling style he did in America.

In 1983, Hulk Hogan became the first International Wrestling Grand Prix (IWGP) tournament winner in a ten man tournament, featuring the best from around the world. He teamed with Antonio Inoki to win the Tag League tournament two years in a row. His popularity in Japan was extremely great.

WWF

After he got hired by Vincent K. McMahon, Vince planned to expand the territory and hand picked Hulk Hogan to be the main star. Hogan was planned to work as a heel but proved too popular to make that work.

WWF: First World Title

Just in case you wondered, he is a real American.
Just in case you wondered, he is a real American.
On January 23rd, 1984, Hulk Hogan won his first WWF Championship, pinning the Iron Sheik in Madison Square Garden. He was the first man ever to escape the Camel Clutch, The Iron Sheik's signature submission finisher. He was also the first Southern-born WWF Champion. Gorrilla Monsoon, the announcer for the match said "Hulkamania Is Here!` which marked the birth of Hulkamania. Hulk Hogan would call his fans "Hulkamaniacs" and the extreme popularity of Hulk Hogan was referred as "Hulkamania." He would always say in his interviews, to Train, "Say your Prayers and Eat your Vitamins." He became a role model for kids. Hogan would wear Red and Yellow, come to the ring with the theme song "Real American" and when hes in the ring, he would spend a while and pose to crowd, making them go insane in cheering. He would rip his shirt and listen to the crowd reaction from each side of the ring, and the side with the largest reaction, he would do his classic flexing for, making them cheer even louder. He would do that for a while, giving the fans a real show. One of his other trademarks was  "Hulking Up", which is extremely thrilling, when his opponent beats Hogan down really badly, hits their finishing move or something really brutal, which pins most their opponents, he kicks out and jumps up with a lot of power, with tons of adrenaline while the crowd goes insane cheering. He keeps shaking with the adrenaline while his opponent tries to hurt him. Then he dose his famous, Hulk Up Combination, were his opponent punches him then Hulk Hogan points at his opponent while the crowd yells in unison YOU!, then blocks his opponents punch, punches him three times towards the ropes, throws him to the opposite ropes and gives him a big boot, then hits his Leg Drop for the three count. The fans would normally go crazy cheering for the hulking up.

Hulk Hogan became the face of wrestling, with Vince McMahon leading the company and Hulk Hogan attracting the fans, they were attracting record house attendances, PPV buy rates and TV ratings in the process. WWF Invested in a huge show, called "Wrestlemania." The main attraction of the show was Hulk Hogan and his friend Mr. T defeating Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff with Muhammad Ali as the special guest referee. On the first Saturday Night's Main Event, Hulk Hogan defeated Cowboy Bob Orton to retain his title.

Hogan was shown and portrayed as a real superhero when reaching out to young fans. He was the most requested celebrity of the 80`s Make-a-Wish foundation children's charity. Hogan transformed the business from a small, territorial pastime into a entertainment spectacle, a global phenomenon for all ages and backgrounds as a result. Nothing even remotely as close as Hulkamania had ever happened before that, Hulk Hogan figures, shirts and collectibles were showing up in malls across the nation. He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, TV Guide, People Magazines and more. He appeared on many famous talk shows like The Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live. He had his own cartoon in the mornings called "Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling." He went on to main event 8 of the first 9 Wrestlemanias! He was also making tons of money from his 1-900 line, being the biggest 1-900 number in the industry in 1991, 92 and 93.

In 1985, he would successfully defend his title against the likes of Nikolai Volkoff, Roddy Piper, Bob Orton and more.

In 1986, he would successfully defend his title against the likes of Terry Funk, Don Muraco, King Kong Bundy, Paul Orndorff, Hercules Hernandez and more.

WWF: Wrestlemania 3

Hogan in the 80's.
At Wrestlemania 3, it set an record indoor attendance record of 93,173, the largest recorded attendance for a live indoor sporting event in North America and they were all jam-packed to see the epic match. The most hyped, biggest and most legendary match ever made. Hulk Hogan, (who held the title for over 3 years, everyone's favorite) vs
Andre The Giant (who was undefeated for 20 years, 7 foot 5, 600 pounds). The match went down in history when Hulk Hogan body slammed the 600-pound Giant and pinned him after a leg drop. That part, where Hogan slammed Andre, is officially the biggest, most re-played in wrestling history. It is known for the biggest thing to hit wrestling.

Hulk Hogan held the WWF Championship for over four years, 1474 days exactly. In front of over 30 million viewers, he got screwed out of the title when evil referee Earl Hebner, twin brother of not-evil referee Dave Hebner counted an extremely fast three count. Andre later gave the title to DiBiase, having the shortest title reign in history.

WWF: Second World Title

He defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage at Wrestlemania V for his second WWF Championship. Hulk Hogan`s title run lasted one year, during that period he starred in the movie No Holds Barred.

During Hulk Hogan's second title reign, he won the 1990 Royal Rumble match. He then went on to lose the title to The Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 6. The referee was incapacitated during the match when Hogan had the win. When Hulk Hogan attempted a leg drop late in the match, the Ultimate Warrior moved out of the way and hit him with his finishing splash and got a 3 count. Hulk Hogan kicked out at 3 and a half so most people thought it was a fast count.
It was the first time in seven years Hulk Hogan lost a pinfall match uncontroversially. At the end of the match Hulk Hogan gave the title to Ultimate Warrior and hugged him.

In 1990 he had a big feud with The 450-pound Earthquake, he injured hulk hogan while the fans cried and sent in letters and Hulk Hogan returned at Summerslam to defeat him.

WWF: Third & Fourth World Title

Hulk Hogan won the 1991 Royal Rumble match, making him the first wrestler to win two Royal Rumble matches in a row. At Wrestlemania 7, Hulk Hogan defeated the Iraq supporting Sgt. Slaughter to win his third WWF Championship.
In 1991 The Undertaker was getting his presence known in WWF for being very dark and brutal, he started a feud with Hulk Hogan in the fall of  '91 and defeated Hogan for the title due to Ric Flair interfering. Six days later, Hogan won the title back even though Ric Flair and Paul Bearer tried to interfere, for his Fourth WWF Championship. Since it was very weird and controversial, the title was vacant (stripped and no one had it).

In 1992 he came third place in the Rumble. He had great feuds with Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Sid Justice and  Pappa Shango

In 1993, Hulk Hogan tagged with Brutus Beefcake and had a feud with Money Inc and had a tag title match at Wrestlemania IX, but ended up losing by DQ (Disqualification).

WWF: Fifth World Title

Later, the same night on Wrestlemania IX, after Yokuzuna defeated Bret Hart to win the WWF Championship, Hulk Hogan came out to aid Bret Hart but then Yokuzuna's challenged Hulk Hogan to a match, for the WWF Championship and he accepted. Hulk Hogan defeated Yokuzuna in 21 seconds to win the WWF championship for the fifth time.

At the 1993 King of the Ring PPV, Hulk Hogan battled Yokuzuna in his title defense. After a hard fought battle a Japanese Photographer came on the ropes and took a picture of Hulk Hogan but the camera exploded in his face, allowing Yokuzuna to take the win.  That was Hogan's last WWF PPV appearance until 2002. He continued to wrestle for a couple months until his contract wore out.

A steroid scandal broke in 1994, threatening the WWF. Hulk Hogan said in court that he used steroids to get big and Vince McMahon was on it also. Hulk Hogan never said McMahon distributed them, but he did say they were rampant in the WWF. All the wrestlers from that era that were interviewed about steroids admitted to having done it.
Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior and more admitted to have done steroids in that era but back then it was much more usual. Professional Wrestling wasn't the only organization using steroids, it was also rampant in Football, Baseball and Boxing. Many deaths have occurred from wrestling, some due to steroid effects. Hulk Hogans testimony kept Vince and him out of jail, but hurt the image of the WWF.

When Hulk Hogan's contract expired in mid 1993, he took a break from wrestling to go to Hollywood and be in movies, television and be with his family.

WCW: First World Title

Eric Bichoff helped sign Hulk Hogan to WCW (World Championship Wrestling) in mid 1994 in an attempt to give the promotion more legitimacy on a national stage. On Hulk Hogan's first match, his debut match in WCW he defeated the legendary Ric Flair, in a dream match at Bash at the Beach 1994 for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He also defeated superstars like The Butcher, Vader, Dungeon of Doon, Etc to retain his WCW Title. He lost the title to The Giant (Big Show) in 1995 at Halloween Havoc because of Disqualification. The Title become Vacant (no one held it) because of controversy.

Hulk Hogan started feuding with The Giant in early 1996, he came out victorious in them. He started appearing less on WCW Programming and the fans weren't just going that insane they did in the WWF for him, he was still very popular but they felt that he has to change his image.

WCW: nWo (New World Order)

"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan
This lead to a big part of wrestling history, one of the most talked amount moments and a moment that shocked the entire wrestling world. In a 6 man tag team match at Bash of the Beach, in the Summer of 1996 while the bad guys, The Outsiders Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were beating down the babyface Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Hulk Hogan sprinted to the ring in his red and yellow while fans cheered loudly. However, Hogan attacked Savage and joined forces with Nash and Hall to form the "New World Order of Wrestling." This made Hulk Hogan, the most popular, most loved and the biggest good guy and hero of all time, into a heel for the first time in over a decade. He then did a now extremely famous promo, bashing the WCW fans and claiming that he felt "bored" and "unappreciated" while fans flooded the ring with garbage and debris.

The New World Order was meant to imply an invasion by wrestlers from the rival World Wrestling Federation, as all of it's founding members were established stars in that promotion. It would gain a lot of momentum and power over the next weeks. Hulk Hogan grew a beard on top of his mustache and dyed it black, got black clothing with the nWo logo in white and changed his name to "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan. Together they ran roughshod over the rest of the WCW roster, beating up wrestlers and generally taking over whatever shows were being run.

WCW: Second & Third World Title

"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan defeated The Giant at Hog Wild and won his second WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He painted "nWo" on the tittle belt with black spraypaint. The belt was called the nWo belt every time he held the WCW Championship as part of the nWo. He defended the title against the likes of Randy Savage, The Giant and Roddy Piper.

On August 4, 1997, on WCW Nitro! "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan lost the WCW Championship to Lex Lugar. 5 days later, at WCW Road Wild 1997, Hogan defeated Lugar to regain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and began his third title reign. Hulk Hogan then battled Sting in a huge, highly hyped, match at WCW Starrcade at the end of 1997. However, while the match was supposed to have a false ending with a fast count being delivered by an "evil referee," the referee's count appeared by many observers to be at a normal, or even slow pace. Either way, Bret Hart, who had recently joined the company after leaving the WWF following the infamous "Montreal Screwjob" came down and ordered the match to restart. Sting would later win by submission. However, the relative weakness of this title match is believed by many to be one of the turning points in the ratings war with the WWF that eventually lead to WCW's demise. The following night on WCW Nitro, Hogan defeated Sting in a controversial manner and regained the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, but it was vacated.

WCW: Fourth World Title

Hulk Hogan started a rivalry with Randy Savage after Savage hit Hogan with a spray can at SuperBrawl, costing him from winning the WCW title. They had a steel cage match at Uncensored 1998, which was fought no contest. Savage won the title from Sting at Spring Stampede 1998 and Hollywood Hogan & Kevin Nash took on Roddy Piper and The Giant in a Bat Match, first time ever. The nWo seemed to be dead when Hulk Hogan attacked Kevin Nash with a bat during the match then had a match the following night with Savage for the title. During the match for the WCW Title, Kevin Nash came in and powerbombed Hogan for revenge but then Bret Hart came in and attacked Savage. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan got the pin and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship for the fourth time.

Hollywood Hogan successfully defended the title till July. WCW made a match with Hogan against the undefeated, and United States champion Bill Goldberg. After some interfearence by Curt Henning, Goldberg got the pin against Hogan and won the WCW World Heavyweight Title.

In 1998, he wrestled in matches with celebrities like Jay Leno at Road Wild 1998, which they lost due to interference.

Before Halloween Havoc '98, he rekindled his feud with the Warrior. However, Warrior's tenure with WCW would be relatively brief. At Halloween Havoc 1998, he defeated The Warrior, who subsequently disappeared from the promotion for good. Meanwhile, Hogan began saying publicly that he was considering retiring from wrestling.

WCW: Fifth & Sixth World Title

The nWo would split in two, nWo Hollywood and nWo Wolfpac, which started feuding with the Four Horsemen and Bill Goldberg. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan returned on January 4th, 1999 on WCW Nitro! and challenged Kevin Nash for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He won his fifth WCW World Heavyweight Championship on what would be later called, the Fingerpoke of Doom. While fans had been promised a rematch for the World Title between Goldberg and Nash, they did not get the match as Goldberg was arrested under what later turned out to be false charges. When Hogan challenged Nash to a title match, Nash agreed but then took a very obvious dive when Hogan poked him in the chest with a single finger. The two warring sides of the nWo would then reunite and beat up Goldberg in the middle of the ring while celebrating with the title belt.

At Uncensored 1999, It was Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair for the WCW Title in a Steel Cage! After a long bloody match, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan was cheated out the title due to biased referee Charles Robinson. Hulk Hogan came out as a good guy on July 12th WCW Nitro! and accepted the challenge from Savage, who won the WCW Title the day before. Hulk Hogan defeated Savage to win his Sixth WCW World Heavyweight Championship!

At Sting at Fall Brawl 1999, Sting defeated Hulk Hogan in a title match by cheating. On their rematch at Halloween Havoc 1999, Hulk Hogan came to the ring in street clothing and laid down, for the three count then left the ring. Vince Russo made him do it, disappointing millions of fans expecting a good match, wasting their money.

Hulk Hogan was involved in a real life, controversial incident with Vince Russo at Bash at the Beach 2000. Hogan was supposed to wrestle Jeff Jerett for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship but before the match, Hogan and Russo had a big argument. Unknown by Hogan, Russo told Jarret to lie down in the ring and Hogan to pin him. Hogan was very confused, with his foot on Jarret's lying body, he grabbed the microphone and started telling Russo "Is this your idea, Russo...? That's why this company is in the damn shape it's in, because of bullshit like this!" and Russo came out and fired Hogan, which was unplanned. Since Hulk Hogan refused to lay down for Jerret, a new WCW World Heavyweight Title was made, which was decided later that night with Booker T and Jeff Jerrett.

XWF

After getting fired from WCW, he went through some surgeries with his knee because he was in pretty rough shape.  He was out of the public eye from mid 2000 to the end of 2001. He worked a match in the XWF, to see if his body was still working. Hulk Hogan defeated Curt Henning (Mr. Perfect) in a pinfall match, kicking out of the Perfect-Plex.

WWE: nWo (New World Order)

On Monday Night RAW, Vince McMahon announced the he was going to "poison" the WWE by bringing back the nWo. At No Way Out 2002, the nWo returned with all 3 original members, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and the leader, Hulk Hogan. They got a confrontation with The Rock and screwed "Stone Cold" Steve Austin out of the WWF Undisputed Championship in the main event against Chris Jericho. The nWo proceeded to feud with the two biggest wrestlers of the 90s, Stone Cold and The Rock.

Hulk Hogan was cutting a promo in the ring, strengthening his bad guy character. Saying how he built the business and how ungrateful the fans are. The Rock came into the ring and challenged Hulk Hogan to a match, at Wrestlemania 18. Hogan accepted! Over the next few weeks the rivalry would get more intense as the nWo beat up The Rock and smashed a huge truck into his ambulance. Before the match begun, Hulk Hogan told Scott Hall and Kevin Nash not to interfere, they were angry about losing to Stone Cold Steve Austin and getting beat up badly, but they agreed.

WWE: Wrestlemania 18

This match, at Wrestlemania 18 is considered extremely epic, for any Hogan fan, Rock fan, old school fan or Wrestling fan. Hulk Hogan came out to the nWo theme song, they showed a lot of Rocky signs and a few nWo 4 Life signs. Hulk Hogan didn't wrestle for the WWF for about 10 years and came out in his most hated persona. The Rock entered the ring and they stared. The bell rings and the crowd starts the cheere. They get into a collar-and-elbow tie-up (test of strength using arms), pushing each other back and then Hogan threw him across the ring and the crowd ERUPTS! Cheering insanely while Hulk Hogan poses. That moment, where Hogan fought him back and the crowd cheers, is a moment that  will last forever. The match continues and the bad guy Hulk Hogan, gets extremely loud cheers while, only a minute into the match, the fans are chanting in unison "Rocky Sucks! Rocky Sucks!". Hulk Hogan goes on to use his belt to whip the rock and low blows and get cheered really loud. When The Rock hit his trademark Rock Bottom or used any offense at all, he was booed. The Rock went on to win the match, as a passing of the torch. They shook hands and, since the Rock was a Hulkamaniac as a kid, he insisted on Hulk Hogan doing poses and the fans loved it. The nWo came in and then The Rock helped out Hulk Hogan and beat them both up.

WWE: Sixth World Title

Hogan in his third WWF/E stint.
Hogan in his third WWF/E stint.
Hulk Hogan was now a definite good guy, he kept wearing black and white and being known as "Hollywood" Hogan.
In the 80s his logo was "Hulk Rules", it was now Hulk Still Rules. Even when he went back to his red and yellow, he still kept the nWo mustache. He defeated Triple H at Backlash 2002, to win his sixth WWF Championship, This one was Undisputed. He went on to lose the title to The Undertaker at Judgement Day due to interference.

On July 4, 2002 's Smackdown! He tagged with Edge to defeat Billy and Chuck to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. That was the first non singles title Hulk Hogan ever held. They then celebrated the fourth of July posing and waving the American flag. They went on to lose the tag titles to The Un-Americans at Vengeance 2002.

He then had a feud with Brock Lesnar. After losing to Lesnar in August 2002, Hogan took a break. He returned to battle The Rock once again at No Way Out 2003. He kicked out of a Rock Bottom and 2 Peoples Elbows and hulked up, hit the leg drop but then got screwed by the referee who handed The Rock the chair and McMahon for turning the lights off. He defeated Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 19 in a bloody street fight. He then had another run as Hulk Hogan, without the black beard and "Hollywood" in his name

WWE: Mr America

After Vince McMahon said Hulk Hogan couldn't work at WWE anymore, he used the persona of Mr. America. He would use his old entrance music, gestures, moves, phrases and used a mask. After a couple matches he took of his mask, showing it is Hulk Hogan and put a finger to his lips telling the fans not to tell. After losing a match against the Big Show, he was forced to "retire." The week after that, Hogan quit the WWE because of frustration with the creative team.

TNA and NJPW

A couple months later, he worked a few matches in Japan, beating Masahiro Chono at Ultimate Crush 2.

Hulk Hogan was approached by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He willingly took a guitar shot from Jeff Jerrett at a press conference and recorded one commercial for TNA but due to knee problems, he never joined.

WWE: Hall Of Fame

Hulk Hogan was inducted to the 2005 Hall Of Fame, the day before WrestleMania 21. He was inducted by Sylvester Stallone. When he came on stage he couldn't talk due to the extreme, extremely loud hogan chants, they lasted over five minutes till hogan had to make them stop. When he even took a breathe during his speech the attendance would all chant, in sync "One More Match!" "One More Match!" "Thank You Hogan!" "Thank You Hogan!"
They also chanted "Austin, Hogan" (talking about Steve Austin vs Hulk Hogan) because they have never fought and they are the two most popular wrestlers of all time. Hulk Hogan replied "That may be a good match, someday".

During WrestleMania 21, As Eugene was getting pummeled, Hulk Hogan came out and made a surprise appearance which made the crowd go insane! He would then go on to beat up Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari.

WWE: Hulkamania Is Still Runnin' Wild

Hassan and Daivari confronted HBK the next day and HBK needed any tag team opponent he wanted, to face them. He begged for Hulk Hogan. When Hassan and Daivari were attacking HBK, Hogan appeared, saved him and accepted his offer.

At Backlash 2005, HBK and Hogan defeated Hassan and Daivari.

On the July 4th edition of Raw! HBK and Hogan defeated Carlito and Kurt Angle and during the post match posing and celebration, HBK hit his trademark finisher "Sweet Chin Music" which is kicking Hogan in the face then walked off. The next week HBK appeared on Pippers Pit and challenged Hulk Hogan to a one-on-one match, Hogan accepted.

The battle happened at SummerSlam 2005 and was called a "Legend vs Icon". Hulk Hogan was dominating most of the first half but with the referee unconscious, he hit Hulk Hogan in the balls, hit him a steel chair, his trademark elbow drop and his trademark finisher "Sweet Chin Music". Hulk Hogan kicked out and hulked up!!! The fans were absolutely going crazy for Hulk Hogan, he hit the Leg Drop on HBK and got a 3 count. Hulk Hogan defeated Shawn Michaels, Post Match they shook hands.

Hulk Hogan inducted his lifelong friend "Mean" Gene Okerlund into the WWE Hall of Fame 2006.

After Randy Orton allegedly flirted with Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke and started to get him angry, he challenged Hogan to a match at Summerslam, which Hulk Hogan won.

Memphis Wrestling

Hulk Hogan was supposed to do a match with Memphis Wrestling against Jerry "The King" Lawler and was promoted for a while but due to some NBC problems, Jerry Lawler could not wrestle. Jerry Lawler was replaced with Paul Wight, also known as The Big Show. Hulk Hogan defeated Paul Wight by slamming the 500 pounder and beating him with the Leg Drop, like he did 20 years before that to Andre the Gaint.

On the 15th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw, on December 2007. Hulk Hogan came back to help out Hornswoggle against The Great Khali and spoke the crowd, mentioning how he loved the fans.
