Jerry Rice is a hall of fame wide receiver that played with the San Francisco 49ers for over a decade he later went on to the Oakland Raiders and retired in 2006 but not before signing with the Niners for a one day contract for $1,985,806.49. The dollar amount represented his first year (1985), number (80), year of retirement (2006) and team (49ers).

He is also responsible for the combination of America's favorite game (football) and America's favorite animal (dog) entitled: Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football.
