Well I was just posting to let people know that Killzone 2 has this feature. The halo theater mode is awesome for sure, but don't forget you can do the same thing in several PC games (counterstrike). The battle replay feature that Killzone 2 has is less like theater mode and more like what's on the bungie and COD5 websites that show the match history, where the kills and deaths took place on any given map, except it actually shows it all in motion. It's going to be very useful for clans because you will be able to replay the match and see what strategies were used, how chokepoints were handled, etc. Theater mode is good for seeing that awesome headshot or nade stick, and KZ2's battle replay is good for clan tactics.

I saw it. they both do the same thing - essentially a record of the game. But one is vastly superior to the other. You've got to be a fanboy not to see this

I'm just saying, what are you talking about? Is this Halo 3 Theater Mode a service that can be used with Killzone 2? These are features that are implemented on a per game basis, so it makes no sense to say you'll stick with the recording feature of another game. Just say what you really mean, which is that you'll stick with Halo 3.

My god what is this i dont even.

Anyway, this game's multiplayer really looks to be shaping up. Like a grimdark TF2 with rotating objectives and custom classes. Singleplayer still looks mediocre, though.

Oh my goodness guys shut up. I don't know whether Halo did this same format or not, if it did - that's cool, have a chat about it in the Halo section. I've not seen a battle replay system like this before (not played Halo 3) so this looks quite interesting to me.

I'm not sure why I'd bother watching it but... awesome for those who want to use it.

How are you going to sit there and be such an obvious fanboy and then act like your opinion is remotely valid to anyone else? It's perfectly reasonable to say that the demo didn't do much for you, but to somehow say that the demo was painfully awful and was somehow incredibly generic (by those standards, most shooters are) is ridiculous. Next I'm sure you'll somehow tell me Halo 3's gameplay is revolutionary.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I thought the demo was really good... a bit short, but it got its point across. I really don't understand the "generic shooter" argument. With the standards that people are basing the argument off of, you could say that about anything. Back to the topic: Awesome! I enjoy features like this!
