This game is a must rent for me and my friends to play together cant buy because of Fallout3 and Gears 2 but definitley a underestimated game.

I like the characters. They're distinguishable and recognisable which is important when there is a lot going on the screen.

Props to Valve for making such a well-done video. The only other company that comes close with this kind of stuff would probably be Blizzard.

That was absolutely beautiful and incredibly well done (though you wouldn't expect anything less from Valve). This has just gotten me super pumped for the game and I can't wait to play it. L4D will need numerous BRs! And on your initial question...A CGI film would be awesome if it was like that the entire time, but I don't expect to see Valve entering the film industry anytime soon. All I know is that I never want to set off a car alarm ever!

Valve doesn't have a very good cinematic team. It was entertaining, sure, but nothing near Blizzard quality.

That a was a good video, but lets not bust a nut here people.  It wasn't the Citizen Kane of cut scenes.

IT may not of been, but in my personal opinion, to any recent video leading up to any single game in the last I don't know how long, years, I think it was the single best video I've seen. I really can't think of a better one more well put together. Most trailers or movies for games just straight up show gameplay or simple chit chat one liners in action games, or play a song people recognize in the background to make up for the actual lackluster trailer to make it seem better than it is. I really think this was one of the best videos for a game I've ever seen.

And btw, that wasn't CG to begin with, so of course its not Blizzard 'quality' if you mean the quality of the visuals, that was in game engine with some changes to make it look better, but I completely disagree if you mean you think Blizzards movies are better. I never found one to be that great , besides looking good in CG, I think this video blows anything they've done the hell away, but that's just me.
