Hand held projectile weapon from the mind of John Moses Browning.
The M1911 is a prominently featured pistol in many shooters. It can be found in every World War Two related game which involves American forces. The 1911 often plays the part of the "bruiser" pistol, which deals a lot of damage at the cost of having a small (7 round) magazine. It fires a 45 caliber round, which is highly effective against unarmed foes. It is often favorably compared to smaller rounds such as the 9mm Parabellum in terms of damage and reliability in combat.M1911 games
