Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond

Overview

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is a VR-only historical-military first-person shooter developed by Respawn and published digitally by EA for the PC on December 11, 2020.

A VR-focused spin-off of the Medal of Honor series (and the first in the series since the 2012 game Medal of Honor: Warfighter), Above and Beyond brings the series back to its World War II roots while focusing on a first-person VR experience. It is the studio's first VR game.

The main single-player campaign chronicles the exploits of an Allied OSS agent in war-torn Europe as they sabotage Nazi plans, aid the French Resistance, and experience some of the most historical moments of World War II (such as D-Day). In addition, the game includes unlockable short documentaries containing archival footage and new interviews with real-life World War II veterans.

The game also includes traditional online multiplayer with 12-player matches.

Game Modes

• Blast Radius - Deathmatch with a twist: kills inside a specially-marked area grants bonus points.
• Mad Bomber - Deathmatch with a twist: each player starts with a special timed explosive that can be planted on any surface, and players earn bonus points by arming them, killing enemies with them, and disarming enemy ones.
