That had to be the most shocking and gruesome scene i've ever seen in a video game, best scene in the entire game too.
Hearing him scream and then the sound of the cleavers cutting through his flesh over and over again was absolutely disturbing, i honestly thought that he was getting beat up but when i saw them cutting him up i was speechless.
Out of all the character's Henry grew on me the most, he was one of those guys that you instantly feel like they're your friend and trust them the most. i don't care even though he was a rat he still didn't deserve that fate, a bullet to the head would have been better. I completely agree with Joe when he said who could do such a thing to a person.
The scene really made me emotional and pissed me off a lot. this game has to be one of my favorites of all time and it easily has a blockbuster quality soundtrack. i can't wait for Mafia 3.
What do you all think about the scene? did it came to you as a shock?
EDIT: added more to the post.

I guessed that Henry was a rat as soon as he was explaining his origins and Vito asked him why his english was so good, but they got interrupted. Still, he was a cool dude anyways and that cleaver murder was kind of fucked up.
Pretty hardcore scene. Walking into the club and shooting the shit out of it was very satisfying afterwards.
"Here's ya fucking membership card" *BANG BANG*
" I don't know what you're referring to, but I just added Mafia 2 to my Gamefly Queue because of you. "Good move, it's a great game that you shouldn't miss out on.

" For some reason I thought it said "The Linkin Park Scene". Don't ask. "
Eww Linkin Park! KILL IT WITH FIRE!
When I saw that scene I thought to myself "Henry? Hen--- what the fuck!?".
It was a truly disturbing scene, but it did a great job of making you reaffirm your enemies and reconsider who the true threats are. Henry was a character who was almost too easy to trust, and I personally questioned the 'truth', that he was a rat. I thought that may have been a 'truth' used to avoid conflict between the Chinese gangs and the mafia. It was a truly stunning scene, and I was constantly impressed at 2K for even including something like that. It felt so brutal and realistic, and it made me want to run over and check on Henry.

Agreed, that was a great scene. One of the few occassions - perhaps the only one - where I have been shocked by a game. It would have had more of an impact though if you'd spent more time with Henry in the storyline. This was a common theme with Mafia 2 for me. There were a ton of great individual moments, but they never really felt like they'd earned them, or strung them together as a coherent whole.
Here's the scene.
(The fuck happened to embedding?)
" @MordeaniisChaos said:No. I meant I was almost going to NOT play the game. Linkin Park is the worst thing ever." @gla55jAw said:But only if the song was One Step Closer. "" For some reason I thought it said "The Linkin Park Scene". Don't ask. "Me too. I was about to reconsider playing the game. "

" Too bad Mafia 2 probable won't even break even. So it looks kind of doubtful. "It probably already has. Nvidia's TWITMTBP program essentially paid a sizeable income to the devs. It's been a pretty hot seller, having been released during gaps between larger, more prominent franchises and it's already had a lot of media coverage. I think it will do just fine.

"I agree with this statement. It also bears mentioning that if you add up all of the people who have expressed their opinion of this game on an online forum: The would constitute only a minority of the number of "consumers" who will happily spend money on the game in subject.
