    I Would like to go to earth and see what it looks like i mean we got to go to the moon in the first mass effect i think they should make a mission you have to do on earth.

    Yeah I think there should be at least one mission that makes you go to some well known earth location. Can't wait for this game btw.

    i would love to go to earth but can u imagine how much work it would take to create earth. i mean all other planets are desolate with a small colony here and there. on earth the player would want to go everywhere. it would be almost impossible

    I don't care where we visit in the Sol system (though we should Get our asses to Mars), as long as its mderatly more entertaining than the first game's shore leave was.

    Nothing of that sort has happened in the canon of Mass Effect. Earth has been largely untouched, partially due to its separation from the rest of Citadel space; it is the only major colonizing world to be on the "East" side of the Citadel, and thus is fairly well removed from the majority of military actions. The population of Earth has greatly decreased, but that is largely due to space colonies, especially in the Verge.

    And yes, it would be neat to go to Earth, though I think that might be reserved for 3. I think it would be cool if in the third game, you went to the home worlds of the four primary races.

    Me too... And it will probably happen... A scenario much like the citadel, is my bet, where it happens a main mission. :p

    A bit off-topic but... i'm not hanging for mass effect 2.

    The Universe isn't as appealing for me as it is the star wars universe created by bioware, for once.

    Does anyone feel the same?

    I think it would be interesting, but it wouldnt ruin the game for me if it didnt by any means. I am looking forward to seeing how this game improves on the first one. (I think I need to do another play through of that game also).

    It should be where the climax is. Except they'd have to outdo the climax to the first ME, so the planet would have to be collapsing or exploding or something. Hell, that's what I'm hoping it is now.

    I think that if you chose "Earthborn" as your origin that you should be able to visit your hometown.
