This is great. I also picked up a PS1 version of MGS Integral for next to nothing the other day. It's an amazing game. Curiously the Japanese "Best of Konami" only has the English voices. Guess Hayter is the best. Will Drew play through stealthily or with guns blazing?

Also, every Endurance Run has been daily videos.

I really hope they play mgs2 at some point as well. Best MGS to watch and the best one overall.

It's not an Endurance Run (but it's kindof an Endurance Run).

As long as Dan can avoiding spoiling it(more than he already has, quite frankly), I think Drew could have a great time!

This is MGS1; so, besides the last cutscene, I don't think any are long enough to be their own entire episode.

Unless you consider the torture sequence to be a cutscene (which it basically is).

I want them to do the Easter egg where you can see Meryl doing pushups in her underwear because who doesn't do that every time they play?

ehhh I wouldn't consider it a cutscene. Even then, that isn't enough for a whole episode. (unless these are only 30min ones) I think Dan and Drew could make a good time out of that torture sequence.

One of my favorite games, super excited for this.

Same here I had no idea what was happening in MGS4 but really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind playing 2 3 and peace walker though at some stage.

@mooseymcman: I think I saw them say somewhere that they were going to go on to the later games, but that could just be my mind hoping.

I'm totally ready for this. I have no interest in playing the games myself so seeing Drew and Dan go through them will be interesting.

It just kind of feels like they're trying to exclude people here, which is a little unfortunate. I'm a premium member, have been as long as I could. And I'll remain that, probably, until the site shuts down (hopefully not until the apocalypse). But one of the reasons I'm here is because of content like this getting me hooked, if this stuff isn't there for free members, what drives them to become the dedicated audience?

I love the metal gear games, but I couldn't make my way through Mgs1. I tried it a few years back and after an hour or two I felt like I was going to throw up. I don't usually feel that way when playing games, but the visuals just had that affect on me for some reason. I'm glad I can finally experience the game, and how better than with Dan and Drew at the helm.

Oh god I can't contain my excitement.

My journey into metal gear solid was a coincidence and now I am really happy that I played this series. It was my next door neighbor who bought a used copy of MGS 3 for ps2 and he wanted to play it on his ps3 but it was not compatible. He asked me If i wanted the game and I said sure and immediately started playing it while I was fascinated at the story.

I've played MGS for the first time about 6 months ago on the Vita and I must say it's still a good game! After that I've played 2 and 3 as well, now I can't wait for The Phantom Pain :{

I have been hoping for an MGS feature for a long time. Biggest game franchise of all time.(still ongoing story/never rebooted). Its kind of the most important game series ever in an academic sense AT LEAST.

i'm gonna play mgs in preparation at least until i get to the psycho mantis fight and can't figure out how to change controller ports on a ps3

yeh i put it on my vita so i think that's going to be a nightmare :D

I highly doubt they changed it at midnight PST.

It's in the "emulation menu" or whatever it's called that comes up when you hit the PS button while playing a PS1 game on PS3.
