    Just stumbled across this.
    Quality ain't all that sadly.

I'm really digging the way they are taking the Metroid series, ingame talking and now a live action tv spot, Metroid could be making some mature renown for Nintendo.
Lots of people gave up on Nintendo with the Wii, but I hope that awesome trailers (and games) like these will kindle their interest once more and bring back old love.

That said, I cannot wait for this game, looks to be an experience worth every eurocent!

Its a very well done commercial, which actually matches up pretty well with a number of past Metroid commercials, and seems to give off the vibe the game's previous trailers have been going for. I'm just disappointed that I won't be buying the game( or Valkyria Chronicles 2) when it comes out in a few weeks.

That... was great.  I can't think of anything about it that I didn't like, actually.

Except for the part where she swung her arms dramatically and the suit formed around her, loved it!

The music, the recap of the events of previous games including the pirate raid on K2-L and finding the metroid hatchling, all great!

I like it. Definitely 'moody' which is a cool direction. It's good that this is somewhat becoming Nintendo's Halo because it highlights the company as being more than cutesy Mario and Kirby.

Definitely a little Halo inspired but apart from the slightly strange "What's past is prologue" line it was a great trailer.

That's a really well done commercial.  Certainly better than the typical live-action Halo ad, which is more focused on Dude in Metal Suit than the actual person inside it.

Didn't the Halo 3 ads fail to show gameplay footage?

This is an awesome ad, especially the music.

As I recall, the Halo 3 ads were really nothing more than Halo-themed dioramas set to classical music.

Nice.  Very Halo-esque, not a bad thing.

A moment of silence for the John Woo Metroid movie that was going to happen but never did :(

Wow, this trailer is so SEXIST. (X-Play can go suck a fat one)

Seriously though, looks great. I particularly enjoyed the Metroid Prime US commercial (directed by Alex Proyas of Dark City fame!) as well.

great commercial. My only problem is the child at the very start and the thumbs down. For some reason I can't take those scenes seriously, I can't place my finger on it, especially the first one.
Its still way better than the UK commercial, thats for sure. It did its job well too, I was unsure about the game but I'm kinda pumped.

Meh...not as good as the Halo ones, and this is coming from a guy who has proven to hate Halo.

I'm not seeing where the disagreement is.  It's dudes in metal suits, doing dudes-in-metal-suits things.
