Minerva McGonagall, more commonly referred to as Professor McGonagall, was the Deputy Headmaster at Hogwarts school, temporary Headmaster, as well as
Head of the Gryffindor House. She was also a teacher in Transfiguration, a position previously held by Albus Dumbledore. She was a kind, caring woman who could treat students kindly but was also known to have a cold demeanor. She grew close to Harry Potter during his school years and made sure he was ready to fight whatever battle was ahead of him. She also was a very talented witch and duelist, as she dueled Snape and Voldemort himself in the final hours of each.
