Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Game » consists of 22 releases. Released Nov 10, 2009
The sequel to 2007’s wildly successful first-person-shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the story of American and British soldiers fighting Russian ultra-nationalist forces.
Does the jelly bother you?
I'd rather go back to red corners; the hit-direction close to the crosshair is pretty useless with jelly on the screen.
I've always said "I've been jammed!" and getting shot makes me hungry. I find it kind of bothersome because getting up to make a sammich mid match can be difficult... although I can just play Lady GaGa over my headset and nobody will know I'm gone.
I wouldn't say it's bothering it just looks kinda off. I'll be confused too if I was bleeding jam/jelly.
I hated it at first because it was so much more distracting, but like every other new thing they added, I just got used to it. Still a great game!
YES I HATE IT
i liked call of duty better, because at least i could SEE!
you get used to it after a while, but COD 4's blood screen was way better.
I just use HTML. Not quite as convenient as click a button and paste url, but still easy. Just click insert▼ then html, write your img tag with source pasted and done! (you may already know html, I'm just trying to help)"(GB needs a code for URL images.)"

" Never found it logical that one would have blood on their eyes, so yes. "This.
Also, it looks fucking terrible. Just give me red corners or something and we're good.
" Do I like having jam sprayed in my eyes while some fuckbag rails into me causing my reticle to bounce around uncontrollably rendering it impossible to kill the worthless asshole? Sure I do! I absolutely love it. Can you tell? "This is the part that truly aggravates me. So many times would I be able to eliminate my adversary, if only the reticle didn't jump so erratically.
I liked the original MW's red corner's much more than.....well, blood in the eyes or whatever it is now. I find it a lot harder to kill your enemy than it was in the original MW with the red on the screen.
" Never found it logical that one would have blood on their eyes, so yes. "I split my head open one time and my eyes were covered in blood... I can honestly say it's not best represented by jam. In fact, I would go as far as to say it's distracting--in a bad way.
I thought it was way too intrusive... I think pulsing red corners of the screen with a slight motion blur effect (such as was used when you pull the knife from your chest in the campaign) would serve alot better. Still disorienting due to the pain, but not obstructing your view too badly.
It confuses the hell out of me as to where bullets are flying from. I only realize after about 7 are lodged into my face.
" @FluxWaveZ said:Oh god. Well, how about it's illogical to see blood in your eyes when you're being shot in your stomach." Never found it logical that one would have blood on their eyes, so yes. "It's supposed to make the player disoriented, which it seems to succeed at reasonably well. I have no problem with it. "
This, also, in campagin, dunno if its there in MP, but there's one spot of blood that's bang in the middle of your hip crosshair, so it actually makes shooting easier.
I find it a little annoying but nothing to cry about. I did prefer the red corners.
When I am close to dying, I like to know where I am going...
I'm going to have to bookmark this thread and copy and paste that code everytime. How many Flickr users are on GB, really?

PB and J heaven.
I never played COD4, but I must say that MW2's jelly jam is a bit weird. In fact, the more I think about it, the weirder it seems. Why would there be that stuff in your eyes when you are shot in the back?
I am not even sure why they replaced the old indicators with this new effect. I even remember them saying, in a GT interview, that they would love to see more devs put this type of thing in their games. I am dumbfounded as to why they would think so highly of it. It is pointless other than suggesting that you should not get hurt anymore, but that can be represented a lot better in my opinion.

Nope, never liked it, still don't like it, out of place and it makes it really hard to see, and people have made arguments that that is the point of it, but getting hit 2-3 times then being half blind in a game is just nuts I can't see wth I am doing therefore it leads to death, I have gotten used to it but I still don't like it.
I never understood pussies who say, "no i hate it, I can't see!" Hey retard, thats the point. You just got your ass shot up, why would the game be easier after your ass is about to get raped? If you are close to getting iced, why would you be able to tell where you are or see? Its more about reacting to the situation that trying to look at where to go. Getting shot up, run or duck. No time to look around and see where you are going. Just run bitch!
" so i'm the only person that likes it? i like it when that happens. i like it better then the screen turning all red. "
" @FluxWaveZ said:I had this happen when I was 3. I was riding a bike and my head ran into the tail gate of a truck. This caused my head to split open and I to fall on the ground. All I can remember was red no jelly just red tented grass before I blacked out." Never found it logical that one would have blood on their eyes, so yes.
