submachine gun and thermal scope is a terrible combo imo 

it all depends on your play style but it does sound like a disaster waiting to happen

First of all yes that is a bad idea,  
 
1. Your using bling with the vector..that thing runs out of ammo so fast. 
2. Only need a silencer with the vector, nothing else. Iron sights are fine.
 
Why the fuck are you posting this here?  Did you really just make a class and then without playing just went to the giantbomb forums and asked if this is a good combo?  
Or worse..did you make this class and actually played a couple of games and did bad and came here thinking you might do better if you talked to us? 
Or worse then that, did you play a couple of games, and did good and are asking us if you should keep this class. And keep doing good.

well a thermal scope is great for noticing people off in the distance because the movement is amplified, but with a sub machine gun this won't make any difference to you unless you want to trek all the way over to where you saw the movement.  If someone is close up to you you'll notice them without a thermal scope anyway.

I just asked someone about this while playing online and I was told only blacks and gays use that set up.

It makes a gun with almost no recoil into something that is hard to control with the scope pretty much and you need to unload almost a half clip to kill someone at long range.  Just a bad combo, but if it's fun to play then knock yourself out.

ACOG on an SMG is okay, but thermal is nuts. ESPECIALLY with the shorter shooting distance the silencer adds.

Vector with silencer and ACOG is amazing but not thermal, thermal is only good for sniper rifles really. 
 

I wouldn't suggest using the thermal for anything except sniper rifles... heck I had trouble using it with the FAMAS, so I can't imagine what the Vector would be like.

If it works for you then no it's not a bad combo

Works great with ACOG and silencer, but runs out of ammo fast, so it's probably only good on modes where you'll die alot or it's a short round.
 
Try your combo and see if you like it.  If it works, than great.  If not, than oh well.

Mini-Uzi rocks! My cousin insists on using that gun at all times. He claims it is his favorite. The vector is pretty good with a scope though since the recoil isn't that high. I'd rock that setup for fun any day.

Plays good...better.... plays bad....worse.
