One of the goriest fighting game franchises returns to its roots, introducing a new story that re-tells the events of the first three Mortal Kombat games (with a unique twist).
He might have been in the earlier versions of MK where he could morph into everyone, the drawback of this is that he really didn't have that many of his own special attacks. In MK9, when fighting him in the arcade ladder, he is pretty ultimate in being able to do the same, while with the playable version he's just able to go to whoever he's fighting which takes away lots of what makes him so formidable. In this version of the MK9, just about all the playable people are fairly well balanced for the most part.
