So Mortal Kombat was banned in Australia but I decided to get it off Amazon (the Kollectors edition for PS3) and I was told by a few people I could get fined because it's illegal.

Nothing. Customs will never bother looking through every package to see if they find mortal kombat. I assume that fine is mostly there to just try to scare retailers who'd try to import it. I'm sure you're 99% safe, they're never gonna ding one guy for importing one video game.

Company you're using to import will write "Game/DVD" on the customs declaration. Xray will show a game/dvd. Package will continue on it's way.

You should be fine as there are no clear guidelines for what's legal and illegal in regards to all internation imports. Just plead ignorance. I think worst case they just seize your copy and you won't receive it.

Risky move...if i were you, i would've bought it on eBay and ask the seller to package it strategically, or get a used copy and ask someone to put the game in a cd/dvd box or put it in a cd jacket and place it within a magazine or some type of filler mail... I'm guessing your game will be taken from you and you'll receive a fine, or if your country is ass incompetent as most, they probably won't even know.

your probably good. Worst case scenario they confiscate the game and a fine (idk about 110k). With how many marijuana seeds get past customs I wouldn't be surprised if you got the game.
