Muse Software was founded in 1978 by Ed Zaron. The company originally published games and experimented with non-gaming applications but ultimately made an impact developing games for the C64 and Atari 800. It was employee Silas Warner who would make the company's biggest hits with Castle Wolfenstein and it's sequel Beyond Castle Wolfenstein. The company closed down in 1987 however their legacy of the Wolfenstein name still survives on in gaming today.
