    Overview

    Ness's father is an unseen character in EarthBound that the player interacts with strictly over the phone. He offers to save the game when Ness calls him and also reminds the player of how many experience points each party member needs to level up. He also deposits money into Ness's bank account as Ness defeats enemies. He apparently, according to Pokey's father Aloysius, borrowed a large sum of money from Aloysius that he has yet to repay.
