R&D2 has developed many peripherals for Nintendo's consoles (in fact, during their first ten years with the company, they only produced peripherals), but they have also developed software. The studio was originally headed by Masayuki Uemura, whose ideas led to many of Nintendo's light gun games. In 2004, Kazuhiko Taniguchi took over the company. In 2005, R&D2 (as well as R&D1 and R&D3) were merged with Nintendo EAD (Entertainment Analysis and Development).Games1991NES Open Tournament Golf (NES)1996Marvelous: Mouhitotsu no Takarajima (SNES)1997 BS Sutte Hakkun (BS-X)1998Sutte Hakkun (SNES)Sutte Hakkun Event Version (SNES)1999Super Mario Bros.
