Panzer Commander was released on the PC in 1998 and featured solid graphics at the time as well as considerably complex controls,with a majority of the keys on a standard keyboard having some function. Following to an extent through the various campaigns of World War II,such as France and Northern Africa,the player was given one of the various tanks used by their army as well as a minor degree of command over a small batallion of tanks.Objectives were given out at the beginning of the mission via photos and audio,most of which required the use of a tank to shoot things.
