So I've been playing WoW on and off since the open beta before the original launch, and I really loved it. My latest stint had me raiding for 4 hours a night, 5 nights a week during TBC. I quit when my guild broke up, and when I started playing again in WotLK, it just wasn't the same--my friends that kept playing told me that I'd get used to it, but it just feels worn out to me.
I've started looking around for a new MMO to play, and really haven't come up with anything yet. I've never been a fan of Guild Wars, and I just tried LOTRO and was really turned off by it. I checked out some video of Warhammer Online, and it looks alright, but also really derivative (the negative comments on the IGN site really turned me off as well).
This being said, what MMO's would you guys recommend? I like soloing a bunch, and I really enjoy endgame raiding. I'm curious as to what to do in my post-WoW life.

Suggestions on a new MMO?
I think a lot of the interesting ones are on the horizon (Old Republic, APB, DC Universe Online, The Agency)
I'd say to wait too.
You can get a trial of Age of Conan and Warhammer, and Dungeons and Dragons online will be free to play soon. Details here: http://content.turbine.com/pages/www.ddo.com/beta_signup/index.php?utm_source=ddo_com
But if you really want something fresh, I'd say to wait for DC Universe Online, Old Republic or the Agency.
Don't forget Champions Online!!
People use what sells/and or works.
It's really more about the 'sells' part obviously. MMOs worked before WoW, but why make something interesting when you can make something completely non threatening and little Billy and Mommy can play too?

FFXI! It's nothing like WoW! Hard as hell though.. and you'll need to find a mentor or spend a lot of time reading Wikis > >
Still, it's a beautiful game with some wonderfully engaging stories and missions.
I'd suggest just giving Warhammer Online a try. You can go into their 10 day free trial. It's more focused on PVP rather then PVE, but it's loads of fun and the graphic style is much better than WoW's cartoonish style IMO...

If you must play something, why not try Atlus Online's Neo-Steam: The Shattered Continent. It's free-to-play and went live this week.
If you want fantasy, give Warhammer or Age of Conan a try, those games are pretty cool. Eve Online is another good choice if you want a sci-fi MMO.
