i think its just a silly anime game doing silly anime things.@Phatmac: 15-17 year-olds, but the point stands. It's interesting, too, that some of the main themes of P4 are about new media stereotypes and how they can over-sexualize their subjects, give a false impression of someone's personality--in fact, watching the Midnight Channel is essentially voyeurism, on a very personal level.
So when P4A or P4G puts out content like this, I'm left with an Inception-like paradox, to be honest. Am I participating in the very thing this game discourages, by playing it? Or is the game aware of its contradictions, and is the test not to be impressed by the fanservice--is it a trap that you're meant to realize and contemplate?
@Phatmac: You get used to this crud if you watch a certain amount of anime. Eventually, you just learn to live with fanservice. You can like P4G but dislike the fanservice. Nothing weird about that.

Cause who doesn't want to take a bath outside when it's below freezing?
I would try that out.
Hey, I found this video (and others) which contains one of Marie's poems http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k3dJ94DBC5A I'm curious of how you access this poem. Do you die? Do you screw up? I only know that these poems are depressing.. the tune is from P3's Game Over screen but arranged. I prefer this one.
The fan-service is a real problem when it is overly used to the point where it is annoying. This is the only time the girls are nude and it does it come up again afterwords. The fact that there is fog hiding their privates means that it not important in the scene but the bonding the girls are having and encounter that will happen later on is. It up to you if you like it or not but just think about their reasoning to put a scene like this in.
Look a couple posts up man. Like i said, there's snow on those walls. It was not snowing at the part of the game where the hot springs scene took place. It was like early fall then. Nanako doesn't seem to be with them there. I'm saying I think this is a different scene. Not entirely sure, but yeah.

Duh. It seems to be going the way the manga was teasing though, with MCxRise. There was enough KanjixNaoto before that this is cute, but meh.
Didnt the manga released, until now, just until the Kanji's dugeon? How they are teasing the MC with Rise?
Anyway if they made a new bath scene with Naoto she is probable getting more attention than the others girls..
I cant believe I will have to buy a PS Vita u.u
Here's the the theme for Marie's Dungeon. Its's called "Memory" (fitting) and it's now one of my favorite dungeon themes (because of its mystic) along side Long Way and Heaven. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=odW1GYM00o0
So a better question, Teddie is fine and all, cuz like the nameless faceless dude in the crowd at the pageant said, "I'd hit it.", but what about the others?
Or any real information on the above scene with Teddie? I'm really curious how you'd get that to happen since Teddie's is the only character's S.Link that automatically goes to 10.
Impressions that have been no doubt been felt by fellow players here too:
- Sure, I'll connect to a network for your whacky online features. I won't feel bad about choosing not to in the future, though.
- Holy crap, the opening seems to be made to show off the Vita's OLED screen. The colors just explode. Rich. Vivid. Vibrant. I would actually watch it again upon successive boots.
- Excitement over a new main menu style. I sure am easy to please.
- The video extras (live concert, etc.) are quite nice. The interface is very "hey, come back later we'll have more awesomeness to show you!".
- New game screen also teasing me of the scooter that I will inevitably ride. Safety and Risky difficulties for both extremes of players.. very nice. Risky is a NG+ thing for me personally. Cutting XP and money gains on that difficulty is a bold move and kind of scary.
- Initial velvet room foreshadows the presentational improvement across the entire game. Cutscenes fitted to Vita's OLED screen makes them look a bit better; character art is noticeably crisp. Retexture work makes the environment more colorful and detailed. Also am benefiting from the use of earphones. The fact that I'm playing this on a portable device also makes me feel good.
- The changes to the very beginning are such a tease for what the rest of the game has in store.
- Kana Hanazawa
- marry me
- Yep, this is Persona 4 alright.
- Scene history and skip features are minor but very welcome additions.
- New battle music eh. This will take getting used to, unless I get an advantage.. nice compromise between the old and new themes I guess.
- Post battle shuffle time is quite interesting. Removes the frustration of timing a button press, adds more choice.
- I died to Chie's shadow because I went in with about half health and had Yosuke bite the dust way too early, but was able to retry without losing progress.
- Thank god, no more constant rolling for spells when fusing. Noticed a few other convenient changes and , oh hello Mari.
- I don't really feel a rush to get anywhere special- at least not yet.
As someone who watched the ER, then played the game a couple times, then watched the (mediocre) anime, I see this game not just as a mirror-sheen polished sendoff to the 3/4 era but an excellent barometer for where the series is headed with 5 as well. The game design is rock solid for the JRPG it is. Most of the features are now, in my opinion, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" quality. When you add the generational leap of Catherine's presentational foundations with a consistent (as in, not suddenly uncool or bad) creative output by Hashino and crew, you basically get the next big title in the series. It's easy if you just consider the former, but the latter is something where you can only wish upon a star and have faith and wait for TGS 2012.
Whelp, here's that thing, you know... that awesome thing.

Adachi just so happens to be walking near where the train is... the MC holds up his cellphone... Adachi smirks... and the MC clenches the cellphone in disgust. All complete with no music at all and eerie sound effects to make you think “I can't believe I just did that...”
Ok, I'll have the other paths up in a minute...
Yay! So this time, MC decides to do something else completely stupid, though, less backstabbitty.
By the by, if you choose not to burn the letter, Adachi says Just kidding! --and walks off after telling you to take care on the way home. Cue bad ending.
Because MC, that was just incredibly dumb.
"Hey, didn’t you hear what I said before? Or didn't you get it?"
"What will you think if I shoot you?"
Adachi informs you that well, you and all your friends are going to die anyway, and you aren't really going to say anything that'll change his mind, so... see ya around.
So there's no way to have the true end and let Adachi go? Hm, and I was wondering how weird it would be to have him show up for your max social link pep talks before you use Myriad Truths.
Prison seems to be the best thing for him. You know, because he's less of a dick in his letter.
