Persona 4 Golden is an update of the critically acclaimed PlayStation 2 role-playing game. New additions and changes have been made exclusively for the PlayStation Vita.
@FluxWaveZ: I'm poor and don't own a VIta, so if I ever get my hands on this, it'll be after my roommate's completed a runthrough on her copy /shrug. And I guess since I know that, I've been viewing any spoilers as their own sort of game, because I have to work to find and understand them? Anyway, if I'll only be watching another person play it, then I mind less getting the content earlier.
I've not read anything about the game since its Japanese release, but you guys are crazy. Following this information too closely means that you won't have anything new to discover on your own when P4G actually releases in NA. But I guess that's not as important to some as it is to me.
I'm never getting a vita so I'd like to see what new stuff they added because of curiosity.
It's definitely fair enough that those who aren't getting Persona 4 Golden are keeping up with the recent information, but my comment was more directed to those who are planning to... Unless everyone in here is people who aren't actually going to get P4G.
This thread has made me way more excited for this than for any game this year (Adachi S-Link, Marie stuff), and made me felt guilty about it (Naoto stuff, post above mine)..

@Animasta: It gave me big hope when they released Catherine for the X360 as well, I truly hope they continue with that decision when it comes to P5. Maybe it sounds egotistic by me, but I just don't have $300 to fork over for another console (which really don't have a lot of other titles I'm interested in). Just wish Atlus would throw me a bone with some new information regarding P5. :)
Erm...this is awesome and all but, im somewhat confused by some of the photos shown, for example long haired nanako as well as the spoiler photo axle put up, do these things play into the story or are extra bonus features? cos i think it would be sweet to interact with that naoto ^^ although that makes me wonder if the novel even takes place int this universe or not. Also do the social links now have voice acting? cause that would be sweet if it did.

Oh, when you said she was another disco ball I thought you meant she was a fragment like Ameno Sagiri. That's fine then. This falls under SMT so introducing another god is hardly new. Especially not with the shitload of Shinto gods Izanami supposedly gave birth to.
@NIveous: She has something to do with the "truth of the world". She seems to be a made up god. As the Japanese players I've been talking to have no idea what she's supposed to be.
With Yu's final move and the Seekers of Truth you'd think they'd have more in common. I wonder why she turns hostile?
I read somewhere her real name is Kusumi-no-Ookami, and she reports the desires of all humanity to all the sagiris. Makes me wonder if she spent so much time with Yu why Ameno Sagiri would think humanity wanted lies and illusions?
These additions seem far more plot-changing than P3P, which was mostly the same except for that one character not dying. It's a pity I have no intentions of buying a vita whatsoever, because all of this looks totally crazy and totally awesome, but I guess that is what youtube is for.
@Dybia: This is only because Dojima works late all the time, and as a result, meets up with neither Nanako nor Adachi (hell if he's staying at the office longer than he's paid to, let alone even that). Adachi's noticed, but he can't tell that to his boss, so I have a feeling that whenever he visits to mooch out of the Dojima Refrigerator, he's also trying to cheer her up. Remember the sushi celebration? Adachi's the one who has to point out that Nanako's not joining in. Also, he tried to keep her from getting kidnapped, so it's not like he dislikes her or anything.
Plus Adachi wouldn't be nearly so open with us if Dojima were in the room. It'd be the dumb cop routine the whole time.
Yeah, I suppose Adachi did catch on to the way the midnight channel works faster than everyone else. His letters weren't threatening to kidnap her, he just knew because of the buzz in town about Nanako she would appear next and Namatame would act on it. Funny, I never thought about it like that before.
Thank god that site had too many clicks to get to playing the video, otherwise I'd have watched it and hated myself more than I already do thanks to this thread.
That is an unexpected and bold move. I like just about everything we know about Marie so this doesn't really bother me. Can't wait to see if it pans out in the english release.
