Way Better than the the First Uncharted 0

This isn't a full review. I mainly wanted to get another 5-star score on the list! I greatly enjoyed playing Uncharted 2 (remastered) through the end. I thought the touched up graphics were done really well. But mostly, the gameplay is way better than the first Uncharted. That one was good but annoyed me frequently. This one is all around fantastic. It feels like an Indiana Jones movie, but that's not bad! I loved it. I would say the Uncharted series is a must-have for every PS owner after playi...

Surprised at Long-term Fun Factor 0

Dawn of War II was the first game of the series I played. It was a slightly risky purchase considering I rarely paid full price, but it looked very promising and I had a friend who was going to buy it as well. It turned out to be a highlight of my gaming history. I played through the campaign four complete times on varying difficulties with different friends. I have 89 hours logged into this stinking game! I did not expect such long-term fun factor. I even brought my PC to work a couple times on...

Mature MMO 0

Please read g0rd0nfr33m4n’s review for a more detailed one. I want to chime in with another good score for the game.I played a trial an unknown number of years ago and was not patient enough. I played another trial the winter of 2011 and logged 30 hours in 14 days. I had matured, although I wasn’t ready to subscribe to an MMO yet. I had single player games I wanted to complete. I waited another year. I played EVE Online for a few months last winter and racked up 251 hours according to Steam.I es...

Great (and fun) Way to Learn 0

I had never played a Magic game before this one. I had seen an experienced friend play before. In fact, I’ve never been into card games like this before. That’s my background. I am a newbie. The PC game put an intimidating game into a nice visual package. I didn’t have to read a rule book for an hour or two to set it up the first time. I played the tutorial and then the campaign. There was no clean up and no card shuffling. It was very convenient. As a newcomer, I enjoyed the level of depth and c...

Cooperative Gem 0

For a game that came out four years ago, I’m giving this all five stars. There are some quirks when managing your friends and getting a game going with your desired character, but they’re small prices to pay. Four players on the same team playing different roles with voice chat built into the game is super fun. (I did, however, use TeamSpeak instead. It’s nice to be able to talk while we’re navigating the game’s menus.) The graphics impressed me because I had not been a fan of cell shading in t...

Great Fun with a Friend 0

Cooperative games are always more attractive to me than others. If a game is just OK when playing by yourself, it’s probably quite fun with a cooperative friend. It has to be a plainly bad game in order for it to stink when playing cooperatively. That has been my experience.I saw Sniper Elite V2 advertised on Steam and was intrigued. I saw that it had co-op, so I was even more intrigued. I tried out the demo, and I loved it. I was imagining the potential of playing with a buddy. I added it to m...

Agree with Giant Bomb's Score 0

Assassin's Creed II is one of the games I've been meaning to buy and play for a year or three. As such, there are many descriptive reviews already written. My review will be very basic.I originally played the first Assassin’s Creed on Xbox 360 when I trialed Gamefly years ago. I beat the game in a week and returned it. It was really fun and not too long. I knew I’d want to play the sequel.I played Assassin's Creed II on my PC using an Xbox 360 controller. It's one of those games that should be p...

You Should Play this Game 0

I have never played an Uncharted game but have wanted to for a long time. I’m more of a PC gamer, so I just never got around to buying the PS3 games. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is what made my Vita preorder a final decision. I had previously been waiting for the 3DS to come out, but I was disappointed enough after playing with one in the store that I was going to hold off. News of the Vita kept me holding off on the 3DS purchase. To top it off, once I saw the gun play in Uncharted, I was sold on th...

Can't Get Enough 0

I wrote this review a long time ago, maybe ten years. I pasted it from a file that has been backed up and transported from computer to computer.---Are you wondering if this is the title of that one game you're looking for? Did you finally find that one airplane game you've been looking for online? Probably.Strike gunner has two modes of play: single-player and 2-player cooperative -- each play the same campaign. I'll tell of a few details of the multiplayer experience. Single-player is exactly t...

Welcomed Freshness 0

I'll start with my expectations. Aside from hand held or mobile versions, I have beaten every Splinter Cell game. I beat them all on Xbox/360 except this last one. I'm a big fan of the series. I love Splinter Cell. I beat two other games in different genres so far in 2011. They were a little disappointing. I decided my next game to start and beat would be Splinter Cell: Conviction. I chose it because I wanted something I wouldn't be disappointed with. I was right in my choosing. The first hou...

My Take on Crysis 0

I beat Crysis a few minutes ago. The phrase in my mind is, "It sucked." It didn't really suck, but that's the feeling I have. The graphics and effects and level design are incredible. The nano suit and the weapon gadgets are quite welcomed. But I was frustrated with the game early on. About half-way through, I just wanted it to be over. I kept playing so I could beat it and move on. My goal this year is to beat 1 game per month, and this one needed to get out of the way. I beat it ahead of sched...
