You are right. It is the worst time to say it. On the day of someones passing in a public forums where people would rather share their condolences. There is an appropriate time to talk about it, but the day of the tragedy isn't one.

God dammit. This shit is actually making me tear up. My fucking avatar is gone. I can't even process this right now. Fuck. I can't imagine what you guys and his wife are feeling. RIP to one amazing person.

Gotta go with 8 then 12 for me. After that 6,7,9 are all pretty much tied. Spent so much time playing 12. I would say 10 somewhere in there but really that was just BlitzBall with sidestory for me.

I played Insanity on my Vanguard and Engineer. Was extremely easy if you use Biotic Explosion setups and a "Mage" like setup on the engineer. High power damage and cooldown is pretty ridiculous. I will say this though, if you import the game it is decidedly easier but if you choose to start fresh...holy shit. It is up there with going into the multiplayer as a level one and not realizing the host set it to Reaper/Gold. Very bad times but maybe its cuz im playing as a soldier for this one?

Actually the higher the difficulty goes the more it converts to an RPG, in which you need your holy trinity type group almost. Played through it twice already ( once on hardcore with my Vanguard and just finished insanity with an Infiltrator a couple of hours ago). As an infiltrator you need someone who is going to be your controller of the cannon fodder and someone who is going to be a distraction. Ashley and Freddy Prince Jr do very good jobs soaking damage. Liara is great for control. You will be forced to take out the bigger targets. This game really wants you to have a stacked team that will fulfill roles and not really like 1 or 2 where you could kind of take who you wanted for story purposed. Javik is a decent complement to most classes but doesn't have a real role for infiltrators.

Also regarding the cloak, you really need to pay attention to whether or not your team mates are near you or dead. Sometimes their pictures wont change color and you get to find out the hard way when you try to use their skills. If you are the only one alive or in your area the enemies will pretty much always find you regardless of being cloaked. It happens in multiplayer occasionally when im the last one left and all of a sudden a ravager magically locks on to me. Just find who you are comfortable with in a team. It might not be who you want for lore and it sucks when you are forced to bring someone who wont be of that much use to you for lockdown or damage in higher difficulties, but you will get used to it.

If you think the grenade spam is bad on hardcore...wait til insanity :(.

Its kinda weird. I have pretty much only been playing my Krogan soldier and just been farming recruit packs. I guess i got all the weapons out of those packs so all i have been getting its those "character packs" that essentially give a little exp and more appearance options. Have had zero luck in silver games no matter what i do. Even went with my asari adept to give the most support but people absolutely refuse to use med packs and rockets like they cant get more. Shit has been driving me crazy.

Really want to try out a coordinated Gold run sometime soon. Been having alot of problem with people not playing smart on silver and refusing to use missiles when its just them and like 2 geth primes on wave 10 :(.

Your disdain irks me brothers

So first time building an entire PC myself rather than upgrading piece by piece. Some concerns over compatibility but my old comp really just cant be upgraded anymore at this point and I feel it is time to do the whole thing myself. Any helpful tips would be much appreciated. I am trying to keep the price around 1k and all the pieces shown are what i require at this point since anything i would carry over would be painfully old. 
 

I dunno. I guess the only problem i even have with this is that Vinny isn't in it. He brings something special on stuff like this with his offbeat sense of humor. Ryan is great at being cynical and Vinny is amazing at being optimistic at all times. Nothing against Patrick or anything but i just don't feel like there has been enough of him around to really get a grasp of his personality.
 
Or maybe I'm just obsessed with Vinny. Either way, more content is always nice. Hope it turns out alright.
