A Place Further than the Universe was not only my favorite anime of last year, but probably of the last decade.

I remember back in the day when cartridges could vary greatly in price depending on the chips. Final Fantasy 3 US and Phantasy Star 4 were over $100 at the time.

After I unlocked him, I went through all the rest of World of Light with Cloud, and now I've been working on clearing all the different challenges with him, so I guess he's becoming my main.

@seikenfreak: They almost didn't get the rights. SNK sued the shit out of the manga for using their characters and games in it, but they came to an agreement. I'm surprised they used SNK games in the show as well because of it.

It's my first Smash game and I just finished clearing classic mode with every single character as of today, and I still haven't clicked with anyone. At first I wanted to play Richter because of my love of Castlevania, and while I like him he's all about zoning. I'm thinking maybe Cloud or Mii Brawler, possibly Snake or Sonic, but I still haven't gotten comfortable with the game as a whole yet.

I can see a DQ character but the others sound pretty suspect.

If I had to bet money on it, I'd say that at least one of the DLC characters will be from Monster Hunter.

@sombre: OPM is has some character development but it's more about the style and concept. Mob Psycho 100 is kind of the next evolution of OPM, with a far more developed set of characters.

@justin258: The first 40ish episodes of Robotech are "Superdimensional Fortress Macross," and for the most part it's pretty much intact compared to the Japanese version other than the name changes and "protoculture" being turned into an energy source rather than an actual precursor race. The second part, Southern Cross, is originally "Superdimensional Cavalry Southern Cross," and the Invid Invasion part is "Genesis Climber MOSPEADA."

Most of the major plot changes and rewriting are in the latter two parts because originally they just wanted to put out Macross in English, but there was a TV standard at the time where daily cartoons had to have 50-some episodes, hence the other shows being spliced in.

If you have access to Amazon Prime, they actually have all of Robotech split into the three arcs AND the original Japanese versions of each series as well.

Nadia for most disappointing?!? Bro, I will fight you!!! Sure the island arc is garbage which should have never been there to pad the series out, but the rest of the series is a masterpiece.
