Hearthstone, south park, shovel knight and The wolf among Us will likely be kinda overloocked or not fought for much. Persona Q might not even be mentioned.
Hopefully not though. those are all great games that deserve a shout at least
Persona Q is an etrian odyssey game. I'm pretty sure that means it won't be on anyone's GOTY list ever.
For good reason, too. Like 4 people enjoy those games.
What are the tech problems with FC4? I've been playing it on PC with no issues at all, apart from some usual open-world weirdness.

Yeah, maybe I'm just incredibly lucky, but aside from some of the expected open world jank FC4 has been rock solid for me. Haven't had any major issues with Unity either, for that matter. Some people standing around in geometry and such, and the fairly major issue of it not being a very interesting game, but no progress blocking bugs or anything.
The technical preview is just that, something for devs to get their stuff up and running and to get community feedback.
Expect rapid changes to functionality, stability issues and data collection. Using it as your primary OS is lunacy.
I've got it running in a virtual machine using the client hyper-v that comes included with windows 8 pro and it seems like they're making good changes. Haven't messed with their APIs and stuff yet, just installed a couple simple apps and messed around with the tile start menu etc, messing around with the new commandline (which is starting to get decent, finally)
Hmmm min specs, I may have to try a trial account then, I'd like to give the game another (casual) go but not if it's going to run like crap.
It's weird, I played through Bioshock Infinite no problem on this laptop, and Skyrim (although I had to use a mod to get a good framerate), Diablo 3, Dragon Age 2 (haven't tried DA3) all run fine, but Dreamfall Chapters runs like garbage.
Anyway, if Intel HD 3000 is the min requirement I'm not too optimistic here. The only thing I absolutely hate turning down is draw distance, so if i can set all the graphics options to low in WoW except the draw distance, I'll be happy.
Yeah, I'd try a trial just to make sure it'll run well enough to be enjoyable. Of course, it'll be hard to simulate all the spell effects and stuff going on in a 25 man raid, but hanging around target dummies might do the trick.
You'll probably have to lower some graphical settings because of the integrated graphics.
Intel HD 3000 is the minimum requirements though, according to this post on Battle.net. The other stuff will be fine. And yeah, the graphics overhaul, new models and spell effects etc will be in the base game as well. You could try a trial account, or check if the PTR is available to you.
I'll skip playing first person shooters on console because a controller for shooters is objectively an inferior input method for them. It'd be like playing super mario world with my HOTAS or some shit.
