So you are asking people's opinions on whether or not opinions can be wrong. Is this a honeypot for robots?

At least it's a lot more entertaining than the insufferable story in X/Y, in my opinion. The slightly bizarre tone of writing and change in structure elevates it somewhat from the usual. I actually kinda care about the characters this time around. I stopped playing Y because I just could not care about any of it.

All my consoles are currently unplugged, so probably undocked most of the time.

I thought it was more like Frog Fractions 2 ⊂ Glittermitten Grove? Some might say... it is only a fraction of Glittermitten Grove.

I have a pretty good feeling you will absolutely hate Hyperdimension Neptunia, even more than I did. I'm not sure if that means it goes up or down the list.

Edit: By the way, how about Final Fantasy XIV for $9.99???

As for the Tetra Master section, I suspect the devs though it was much better than it was and wanted to add some variety to the game.

It is quite bewildering how much they seem to like it. They've even remade Tetra Master for the PlayOnline service (with a $1 monthly subscription fee) and kept it up for 7 years.

I just replayed Firewatch and I'm pretty sure there were also multiple variations of "nice view" in there. Though probably less than Uncharted 4, to be fair.

@zombiepie:I got into Western CRPG's a bit late and it is a pretty weird contrast how it emphasises a more open structure and a sense of "realism", for the lack of a better word. I find it a bit bizarre how the sidequests are generally way more interesting than the main storyline.

Anyway, I've just played a couple hours of FFIX and oh boy, it is rough like you wrote (especially Zidane's lines). I found the fast forward button though, which makes the battles and backtracking way more tolerable.

My favourite moment is in Stephen's Sausage Roll when I discovered the sausage-stabbing mechanic. That made me laugh out loud!

Second most favourite is when I played Devil Daggers and broke 60 seconds. My adrenaline was pumping so hard, I thought the game was going in slow motion for some reason.

Also shout out to the Firewatch audio tour for the moments when the helicopter pilot reveals the final audio tour cassette tape in his hand and when Chris Remo sneaks in a Giant Bomb reference at the very end.

I think the comparison between Mario Party and Monopoly is apt, since Monopoly is based on a socialist's satirical take on free-market capitalism that was designed to be unfair and terrible.
