Can't say for sure but I want to say it was only for PC. If it was for console it probably would've been more popular

Wasn't wipeout. This game also had very normal looking sports cars with a slight futuristic touch to them, they weren't racing pods or anything

I remember playing this at my friends house somewhere around 1996-1998. It was a racing game with a very futuristic, metallic look where you would drive in super unrealistic courses with massive loops like trackmania. The graphics seemed really good at the time and were pretty shiny yet gritty. I also remember every car was able to fire projectiles. I know this doesn't narrow it down too much but somebody please tell me theyve played this before! A lot of great memories were had playing this game

Volition, the developers of red faction and saints row. they prob arent BELOVED but whatever. i still hate em.

i applied to be a game tester for them when i was taking a year off from college cuz it obviously seemed like an awesome job. testing games while working in a nice studio with arcade game consoles, a shelf of action figures/video game memorabilia, nice leather chairs, and a laid back work environment. they rejected me and i ended up fucking working for a sandwich delivery shop delivering to them pretty much once or twice a week for a whole year. noteworthy was the contrast between how happy their employees looked whenever i would walk into their office and how miserable i felt wearing my retarded uniform working a job i hated so much

I haven't read the article but it is retardedly easy to beat the singleplayer missions on brutal just by macroing up a massive medic marine ball and steamrolling everything in front of you

love -
-being able to walk around ship in between missions and interact with objects. feels like a throwback to old adventure games
-missions are varied
-difficulty level is equally challenging as it is fun
-absolutely love the upgrades and campaign units
-awesome multiplayer of course

hate -
-im kind of disappointed with the story.  i dont feel any connection with the characters and the writing is overally pretty cheesy
-no anti-aliasing bugs me

@lilman1101: It was the default avatar when I set this account up. I'm not really looking for an EASY game to S-rank if anything I'd like the game to be tough and engrossing

What are some games you have S-Ranked and would recommend I try out? I am not exactly a thorough gamer, I generally just do a single playthrough and end up putting my games away but I've decided that I will try to be more thorough with my games. I am thinking about giving Mass Effect another playthrough because I enjoyed it so much the first time in spite of how I little skimmed off its surface just focusing on the main missions.

I would say that sc2 is as simple as RTS games come, its one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" type of games. you'll be able to pick up and play it relatively fast and knowing blizzard, they will make the singleplayer intuitive enough for new players to learn the gameplay mechanics in no time. The singleplayer will be amazing but it won't necessarily prepare you for multiplayer. I don't think you should feel intimidated by trying out the multiplayer though because it places players on different leagues depending on skill level. You will be new to the game, yeah, but you'll be playing against players who are just as clueless and new to the game. eventually youll learn the ropes and maybe eventually become a diamond league player who knows
