They have damaged their reputation for me personally BUT if they can fix Cyberpunk to an acceptable level they can win some of my faith back though not all. Between Devotion and actively misleading people about certain aspects of Cyberpunk and not showing last gen console versions because they knew it wasn’t nearly good enough, they would have to do a hell of a lot to win me back completely.

@vikingrk: I didn’t mean to necessarily imply that nobody in the games industry cares about the otherwise marginalized people and issues. I’d even bet that a few of those caring people DO come from those bad companies but sometimes a job has to be more important than any moral objections. Especially now, that said outside of indie devs it’s really hard to find a developer or publisher who hasn’t done something either morally questionable or downright terrible.

Like I said I can definitely acknowledge CDPR has some work to do (if they care to) to address what they have done wrong. Maybe it makes me a slightly worse person to still want to play the game, but I choose to believe that not everyone at CDPR deserves to be punished for what is likely the decisions of a handful of ignorant people.

@vikingrk: You do have a point and I make no excuses for devs who do these things. In some cases though people seem to gloss over these things in favor of the game regardless. (Activision, EA, and Ubisoft are all guilty parties to terrible practices) I think it’s getting more attention in this case because people automatically assumed CDPR was above these kinds of things. Nobody in the games industry is, I see it as the lesser of many evils. But hey I’m not perfect, far from it. But I’d like to think taking the lesser evil out of many says something. If you disagree that’s okay.

I preordered and even after the reviews I’m pretty sure I won’t regret it. The biggest bugs will eventually be fixed and open world games always have persistent jank it kind of comes with the territory. As for the transphobic tone to some of it, it’s unfortunate that in 2020 this is still a problem but quite frankly if I took a stance to not play a game every time a developer does something S*itty I wouldn’t have many games to play.

I have a 4K TV and the game’ s color is washed out and splotchy on the edges, It’s not my TV as AC:O looks just fine I fiddled with settings and can’t fix it. Anyone else have this problem and know a solution?

I wish her well, I still think of Ryan whenever I watch a quick look or read a review and wonder what his thoughts would be. Still (and probably always will miss the duder.

So I live near a small town in rural Northern Arkansas, the Walmart there, despite being a supercenter location closes at midnight due to lack of business, I missed out on pre orders, but they open at 6 AM CST so I figured why not try? Man did I get lucky I managed to get a grey joy con bundle, a pro controller AND a copy of the Breath Of The Wild Special Edition. Talk about hitting the jackpot.
