@SethPhotopoulos: When they say over a dozen hours, I'm placing it somewhere between 12-15. It's not gonna be more than 20, because then they would just say 20. And anything lower than 20 is frankly disappointing to me. By all accounts, Golden Age is your standard-ass RPG, but what made it such a great addition to the GBA's library was its epic scale. Sounds like this one missed that boat.
So it seems okay by the review, but I think the most troubling aspect of the review is where it says it has over a "dozen hours" of gameplay. That's it? The best part about Lost Age was it was over 80 hours, and there was just tons to do. To see that they've apparently scaled this back significantly is pretty disappointing.
Surprised by all the Mission Impossible love, ha ha. Thought I was the ugly duckling on that one. Makes me wanna play it again. That last bonus level, where you meet all the makes of the game was boss.
@rhacer63: I think you missed my point. You shouldn't be letting your kids play an M-rated game. End of. By doing so, you have no moral ground to stand on.
@rhacer63: Black Ops is rated M. Maybe if you're so worried about your kids' safety online you don't let them play a game where you torture people with glass-in-the-mouth.
@rhacer63: Actually I find almost all of these funny/clever. Who are you to judge? If you don't like it, why the fuck are you in this thread? It says offensive right in the title. You should have known what you'd be getting into.
Anytime this map comes up, I have to leave the lobby, because for some reason, everyone else seems to love this map, and if it gets into the mix, it will be voted on, over and over and over. I don't understand why people in TDM like this map so much. The respawn points almost guarantee that wherever you are, you're about to die. Not only that, occasionally someone will use a napalm drop on one of the cramped respawn points, and you'll find yourself insta-spawn-killed.
I love the look of the map and everything, and it is fun in lone-dog, small-player-number games. But 6v6? It's a damn clusterfuck.
@JJWeatherman: my slim's disc drve died after less than a month of use. Fortunately I was able to take it back to Walmart and skip all the Microsoft repair b/s. But yeah, shit happens I guess.
