I am currently in a situation similiar to Jeff where I am in a small room with limited movement and played it mostly sitting down and thought it was fine.
I'll be interested to see what he thinks about the Combine because that was easily the worst part of the game for me. Eveything else I really enjoyed.
Half Life VR is rumored to be a prequel (Between HL1 and HL2) where you play as Alyx. There have been mentions of HLVR in code for Steam Updates and they claim they have been working on 3 VR games. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't know if they would make it completely VR exclusive though due to backlash. I could see it built from the ground up for VR, but then baking in things to make it a standard FPS.
I was really glad Battlefield 5 changed the TTK back. There are so many bugs and issues with the game and that have plagued the game for years that BF veterans are just used to while new users may find extremely frustrating.
Also blanket damage reduction didn't seem like it would fix the problem because even though the new players weren't dying as fast chances are they aren't killing anyone either. Also after the change so many people just seemed to switch to shotguns because they were now able to close distance with a 1 hit kill weapon, which was also frustrating.
Lol listening to that taco bell bet part had me cracking up because it seems like a terrible bet. I wish someone took him up on it.
Eat 1 taco everyday for 5 years is 1825 days and I believe each taco is at least $1. So he is paying at least $1825 + medical expenses to receive $1000 in 5 years.
What in the world is going on with Alex in that Oculus Go segment? Dude sounds legit unhinged.
I saw this before listening and expect Alex to go on some rant on Oculus Go, but Dan was acting sort of silly. Dan is skeptical of the device and he has access to try one. So it seems silly to just buy it before at least trying it out.
Based on the things Dan said it will probably be useful for him. The media viewing ability of the device is great and is much more comfortable and convenient than a GearVR. There are some neat games, but I haven't put a ton of time in on those yet. I am actually going on a flight in a few weeks, but I don't know if I will actually wear it though.
The Impossible Burger is the burger that "bleeds" and is actually pretty good. It does a good job mimicking beef. I have also had the Beyond Meat and think that one is pretty good as well and pretty similar to the Impossible Burger although it looks more artificial than Impossible.
If the upcharge to get these burgers wasn't so expensive I could see myself subbing them in for basically any burger or any meat based meal.
