Nice blog, Brandy. I should start updating my own more often.
I enjoyed Mass Effect, but I guess I found it predictable, especially after having played many of Bioware's previous games. I'm not sure "predictable" is entirely the word I'm searching for, bu it'll work. And the vehicular combat drove me crazy for a long while. It's a very well-put together game, but it felt like a shinier, slicker version of Knights of the Old Republic. That's not a bad thing, but I was looking for something a little more unique.
Haven't picked up Chinatown Wars yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it. I've got a to-be-played pile a mile deep, so I'm trying to get caught up on those.
I need to beat Chinatown Wars, but I don't know, something is just not really clicking with me on the game. I mean, it's a decent enough game where I can play for 30-60 minutes and feel satisfied...but there's nothing really new or interesting that's drawing me into the title.
Hope you pick Mass Effect up again sooner rather than later... You're depriving yourself of an amazing experience! If you find yourself burning out from playing it too much, try to pace yourself; it's worth it for this one.
Sega SuperStars Tennis for $3.74, wow... I would buy that. I wonder if my Target has it on clearance. I played Prey on my PC, bought it for $4.99 on Steam and well worth the price. I've been reading your new site and signed up, but haven't introduced myself yet. I'm actually kind of shy, only active on a couple of sites, but I like reading your site for a different perspective on games some people don't play. Take it easy and see you around.
