I started following video games with Nintendo Power magazine when I was probably 9 years old. I had read several issues but the first I got from a subscription had the green Doom 64 cover story.  So I guess that would've been sometime in 1996.  I still remember salivating over  the couple of screen shots of Earth Bound 64.  A game that unfortunately never came to pass.

I'm pretty excited about both games, but I'm choosing to buy only one right now. RDR will likely hold me over for a longer time and is $59.99, while Alan Wake is retailing at $69.99.  I feel I'll enjoy the games on two separate levels, but I'd rather pay full price for a game that will last me last longer than 15-25 hours (or however long it is).

I usually find I come back in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.  For me it's usually a matter of seeing how they playing and just adapting to it quick like others have been mentioning.  Try to shake things up I guess.

Thanks everyone for the help I've gotten better, especially after challenge 14 (dive kick to Ultra 2).  I was finding I could never get anyone not to block it but everyone's advice has helped a lot.

@ElegantRuby:  Thanks I'll try that.  I just won 5 in a row and found that executing it as someone is jumping in at you very successful.

I'm having a lot of fun and some success using Juri, however I am having some trouble successfully landing her Ultra II.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to combo into this or when to use it?  Also, would I be better suited to just using Ultra I?  Thanks for any help in advance.

I agree that it will be Jack and Sawyer sitting on the beach having the same conversation as Man in Black and Jacob.

Honestly I thought it was great.  A very tight, varied and exciting campaign.  Probably my favourite FPS campaign (PD is a close second).  I recently got a free code for COD 1 and played through that campaign last week.  It was interesting to see how the series has evolved.  I beat MW2 on Veteran but I'm not sure if I'd be able to have the same success with COD 1 for the achievement.
