One of my favourite moments came during the episode where they kept making the C&C Red Alert 3 siren after anything vaguely sexual. A reader's letter about Viva Piñata led to Ryan calling Jeff "some kind of flaming fudgehog", and Jeff followed it up with the (in)appropriate noise.

Am I the only person who thinks the POW block looks like a burger?

@Hamz: Oh, way to rub it in that it's nearly noon here in Australia... *snarling at a passing work colleague*

Hordes of slow moving enemies that have to be squashed by chopping down trees. Their corpses rot and fertilise the earth, making more trees grow where they died. Of course, let too many trees grow and you can't see where the enemies are coming from, so you have to get your tree / open space ratio right. Trees can create a domino effect for bonus multipliers. Naturally, the game would have full physics in effect just to totally screw up your carefully constructed plans, causing you to throw a controller and chip it.

@Sprizmo: A Scanner Darkly is the PKD book. For years, a mate of mine and I would always lament how it'd be nearly impossible for a film to be made of that. I'm so glad that Richard Linklater proved us to be idiots with no vision.

A couple of other recommendations: Eye in the Sky and Time Out of Joint, the latter if only to discover what Oscar-winning film used the same premise 40 years later.

And to drag things back to being on topic, I thought the first Transformers was wafer-thin and uninteresting. I'm not really jonesing for the follow-up.

@Sprizmo: "Flow My Tears..." is one of my favourite PKD stories.

@TreeHouse: Very cool. I'd so wear that! I'd be checking the 'Grey' box on my order, for the record.

@natetodamax: I fully intend to rectify this terribly tardy oversight. With interest.
