That kid, hes going places...

I love Giantbomb and all the stall, but its nice to have someone a bit younger and more enthusiastic. That's not to say that Ryan/Jeff/Vinny/Brad aren't enthusiastic enough, but as a younger guy myself, I feel I can connect more with Kessler sometimes, I'd love for him to be a full time editor for the site. Maybe someone to do walkthroughs for the site, they don't need more editors really. Brad, Ryan, and Jeff can get pretty much any review needed, and Patrick can fill a spot if needed. And Patrick can do news stories and more in depth editorials. So I dunno where matt would fit with Giantbomb, but still, that kids gonna go places.

I just worry for his health sometimes

@Contro: I think patrick is saying the best parts of Skyward Sword are the parts where the designers do something different from what a traditional Zelda games does. He also says its ironic since this game is the starting point in the timeline so its strange that its so different and evolved from its predecessors.

anyone noticed the guys legs? They seem...off. Not by a technical side, he looks human, but the legs, specifically the right calf. Is that fire? I can't tell, maybe my mind is playing tricks and its just a normal dude, but the legs....

@SeriouslyNow: Wha? How is this a debacle? He liked the game. He played enough of the game to determine that. What am I missing?

Sure, a 'journalist' reviews a game and plays a short amount of it, marks it lower than everyone and couple of days prior was openly complaining at his lacking review copy. If he was so interested in his missing review copy why didn't he give the game the time that was needed to properly review it? Because he wasn't interested in the game, only the fact that his ego had been bruised.

no, because he needed to get a review out. A game as big as this demands a review from a large publication before or on the day of the games release. It brings hits to the site and that is there job. He was perfectly justifiable on being angry about how the process for getting a review copy was, because EA/Dice really fucked up on that. That's why he rushed the review out. He didn't have enough time to fully flesh out the multiplayer. But why does he need to? He stated that it was the best part of the game, and what he said in his actual review was pretty accurate.

A - It's a well known classic

B - It has no voice acting (detrimental to an ER)

C - Patrick already finished it

D - No Vinny

E - No Jeff

F - I dislike Patrick.

A. True.

B. Whether it's detrimental or not is unknown at this point since it hasn't even started.

C. Patrick will not be the one driving, and it's been years since he played it.

D. That doesn't bother me.

E. That doesn't bother me, either.

F. Why?

I do believe that it would detrimental without the voice acting, during the P4 ER they skipped many lines of dialog, I personally think that Ryan and Patrick would skip lines and would miss some interesting points in the story. Also, voices just add another level to the ER that a text only game wouldn't imo.

I'm not really a fan of the choice. Why Chrono Trigger? It's been played out so damn much already; I can't imagine there's a lot to bring to the table. I am willing to be surprised, though.

Why not? It's not like it's gotten much play around here. Though you probably wouldn't be satisfied with any choice unless it were either a Fire Emblem game or the most obscure, fan-translated RPG they could possibly dig up. :P

actually, a Live A Live Endurance Run would be fucking awesome
