Maybe Barret is just an angry man with a gun? Maybe the ones bringing up the fact that he's black are the stereotypical ones, not square themselves. I think his skin color is and always has been irrelevant. He's just a pissed off man who's seen some shit and fought in a lot of battles. That could make anyone angry all the time.
Also, I have seen people bring up the Cloud in a dress thing and the fact that it made them uncomfortable. They're weird and they can get over it, keep that scene in I say.
I really do want that snowboarding scene gone though. Terrible mini game. Also, keep the escape from midgar mortorcycle scene, but just make it a cutscene, not a mini game.
This is insane. VR is going to die before it even takes off. If VR is to succeed it'll not only need the hardcore gamers money, but the mainstream as well and with so many on the market and all of them probably super expensive the sales are just going to be spread way too thin. Especially all of the ones that are going to work on PC only and will need at least a GTX 980 to work properly.
That's a $500 graphics card and a $500-1000 VR headset. And I still haven't even bought a case, RAM, motherboard, processor etc.
This is a death sentence for Starbreeze by the looks of it. I really hope they don't THQ themselves with this one. I was way more excited when it was just Oculus and Morpheus. Don't get me wrong, I'm still SUPER excited, but I'm skeptical because I'm excited and I don't want VR to bomb in sales and then devs not make games for it.
I thought this was genius design IMO. Byrgenwerth is quite small, not much to explore. You get and key and open a door that is locked. The only thing there is a Man who points towards the lake. So, following video game logic, you follow the pointing finger and hope for the best.
The lamp was right there, again, Byrgenwerth is small. So, why not just take a chance and jump?
That was my thinking at least. Clever idea for a "door" to a boss fight.
I'm fairly certain that almost everyone hated when Ledger was casted as Joker for the Dark Knight and everyone ate their words because it was the performance that mattered and Ledger owned that role.
If Leto can make this version work and give the performance of his life then I'm all for giving it a try.
The tattoos definitely need to be toned down though. Especially the one on the forehead.

And I really wish I lived in the area. I live in Indy so I have no hope of coming to anything like this. Maybe if Alex and Vinny ever do something like this I'll take a drive up there.
